A promo video for Shout Factory’s upcoming Power Rangers DVD boxset has been uploaded to Youtube. The video, from Entertainment Weekly, seems to suggest that the first three seasons of the show will be getting a separate 19-disc release, but has no info about price or release dates.
Check it out below, as it gives a taster of the extra features available on the set.
The 40-disc DVD boxset encompassing Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers to Power Rangers Lost Galaxy will be released via Time Life on August 6th, priced $219.95. We’ll keep you updated on any news about the 19-disc set as it comes.
However both sets have been said to be available this weekend at San Diego Comic Con!

Was that Kat in that shot at the end or Wendee Lee?

Yeah, the MMPR full-series boxset is bought. I normally don't spend that much on DVDs--the last time I came even close was the Robotech Protocultre Collection--but like all of Shout!'s MST3K releases, this looks to be high quality.
Also, good to know that Catherine Sutherland is still smokin' hot. Kimberly will always be my first crush (I was seven when MMPR started), but I've always appreciated Kat.
