Bandai Namco’s Kaiju Survival game City Shrouded in Shadow is finally gearing up for release, a new preview teaser for the game’s been released where we finally have a look at the gameplay.
City Shrouded in Shadow will see a release October 19th 2017 in Japan, the trailer and previous magazine scans have confirmed the inclusion of the anime Mobile Poilice Patlabour into the already bizarre mix of Kaiju, Ultras, and Eva. An English localization for this game has yet to be confirmed as of this writing.

basically a game where you play a human dodging attacks from kaiju, Ultras, and Mecha.

I really, really, REALLY want this game to get a localization....either that or I have to start learning Japanese.
Well that looks about as disappointing as I was expecting. I can get over the graphics being subpar, and looking like an early-mid PS3 title. But good lord does that gameplay look stiff and boring. Looks like they're banking more on recognizable faces rather than making something worthwhile, which is a shame since the core concept is a really neat idea, yet this just looks like another quickly made title.
This looks awesome. It looks a bit dated, but I think I kind of like that about it. It almost reminds me of old survival horror games at times.
^What the fuck...is this game!? The Ultras, the kaijuus, Godzillas and everything in one game!? My mind can't process all of this. On the other side, I think the plot is like your point of view whenever a giant battle is taking place. Like, you would never imagine a mecha or Ultras' battle will be so dangerous and destructive like this. The premise looks good too.
Huehuehue....
While this game does look 'meh' (in fact I'm not sure which part was gameplay and which was cutscenes), I think it's cool to finally know how the citizens react whenever something like this happens.
I personally think that there should be and English title that read: "Daily Life In Angel Grove: 1993-1998"
LOL Eva-01 as well? Damn this game has a bitch load of different licenses I have a feeling it won't be localized here in the west.
