Another new entry in the Power Rangers Lightning Collection has just been shown!

First listed in a leaked Amazon listing some time back, this new figure is Lord Drakkon EVO III– the final form of the iconic BOOM! Studios villain in his black and gold armor.

This new version of Lord Drakkon comes with the saber Saba and an assortment of Ranger helmet trophies held in his lightning effects.

Power Rangers Lightning Collection Lord DRakkon EVO III will be a Hasbro Pulse exclusive release, currently scheduled for September 2020! The price is a modest $49.99 USD.

    It's hard to tell because the image resolution is so small, but are those helmets cracked? Aside from their intended use, that could make them interesting if edgy display options for their respective Rangers!

    No Blue Ranger helmet is a neat touch considering the lore of his universe, but it makes me wonder why no Black Ranger helmet. Though, wait, isn't this him after beating every ranger ever? So why limit it to just MMPR helmets...

    As to limiting to MMPR.

    They already have the molds and it would get expensive to add a bunch of extras heads.

    $50 for one figure, Hasbro Pulse exclusive. This feels like a con figure.

    Yeah but they already have the molds for, say, DC Gold and Zeo Blue. I'm not saying make whole new heads for it, I'm just saying it's odd they dipped into MMPR only of their existing helmets.


    Anyway yeah, IGN's got much bigger pictures; those helmets look great

    Yeah. Since Hasbro's putting it up in September, just like the Transformers Quintesson Pit of Judgement, I think it's safe to say this was going to be the SDCC figure.

    Well his biggest beef is with the MMPR team. Of the three they chose it makes sense.

    MMPR Red - Jason was always the superior ranger. At the very least the first ranger he killed.

    MMPR Pink - Love interest and he brainwashed his version of Kim

    MMPR Green - His former identity and he hates himself.

    Has he even talked to Zack/Trini?
    He never took Billy's morpher.

    Beyond that any other helmet would be there for padding.

    Looks ok but.... I think they should have at least done a damaged helmet for every MMPR member if they were going to just do MMPR. This way you can use them for a full team battle damage scene. The figure is $50 bucks after all.
