Let’s Watch Wednesdays Week 16 Gekiranger 46-49

Posted on June 12, 2013 at 8:51 pm by Den-O under TokuNation Spotlights

We’re in the home stretch folks. Let’s Watch Wednesdays is winding down to the end with Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger! Last week we learned the turth about Jan’s father and his ultimate fate at Jan’s hands. We also learned that the terrible Long has been using Rio, but to what ends?

This week we hit the final four episodes of the series. Long’s terrible history has been revealed to all. The immortal monster who has manipulated events since before the series began has reared it’s true form. Rio, shaken to the core, struggles to find purpose in his life. If an enemy is truly immortal how can he be defeated? 2 schools must unite as one. Even heroes die.

These may be the final episodes of Gekiranger but not to worry, we have one more week on this LWW. Next week will feature Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger Vs. Engine Sentai Go-Onger The Movie! So be sure to stay tuned, and in 2 weeks we’ll be featuring our next Let’s Watch segment! Be sure to get in on the discussion for this week and next as those will be your last chances to be automatically entered in our DVD Giveaway! Details here.

So Let’s Watch Gekiranger 46-49!

TokuNation.com Presents Your Top 20 Power Rangers Of All Time

Posted on May 19, 2013 at 1:20 pm by Chris under Power Rangers, TokuNation Spotlights

This year, Power Rangers celebrates its 20th Anniversary, a milestone that not many properties or franchises accomplish. We here at TokuNation have decided to celebrate this milestone by spending 20 weeks celebrating your Top 20 Power Rangers!

Starting on Monday, June 3rd, we will spend a whole week posting news, information, galleries, etc., of each Power Ranger that you’ve chosen to be the Top 20 Power Rangers of All Time, starting with #20 and working our way up to #1. This is on top of our monthly series-appreciation, highlighted by our changing banner in the top right of your screen, as well as numerous galleries from that series.

All we ask is that each of you post your top 10 Power Rangers (#1 being your highest, #10 being your lowest). We have created a mathematical system that rivals most scientific equations (not really) that will determine the Top 20 (because it’s unlikely that you will all pick the same 10 Power Rangers).

The staff here at TokuNation have already taken part, and for your viewing pleasure, here is a Top 10 list that the staff came up with (using the same mathematical equation). They are listed in no certain order, but they are the Top 10 the staff came up with:

Eric (Power Rangers Time Force)
Zack (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers)
Tommy (Mighty Morpin Power Rangers, Zeo, Turbo, Dino Thunder)
Ziggy (Power Rangers RPM)
Billy (Mighty Morpin Power Rangers)
Katherine (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Zeo, Turbo)
Adam (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Zeo, Turbo)
Jason (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Zeo)
Wes (Power Rangers Time Force)
Kimberly (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers)

For what it’s worth, the staff in total had 30 nominations, and those are still being counted with YOUR nominations, so just because you don’t see one of your favorites on this list doesn’t mean they aren’t #11, or #12, etc. Remember, in the end we will have The Top 20 Power Rangers that you choose!

Simply post in this news thread your Top 10 (again, #1 being your first choice, #10 being your last) and wait and see on Monday, June 3rd who the Top 20 Power Rangers of All Time end up being, starting with #20.

Any questions can be posted as well! Have fun with this! Go Go Power Rangers!

And we’re back! Sorry for the delay folks, but fear not, because Let’s Watch Wednesdays is back at Tokunation.com!

Our topic of discussion, Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger, has been a thrill ride so far with plenty of twists and turns. Now it’s time to twist this weekly segment, again! We break from your regularly scheduled programming for a special treat, the movie Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger Vs. GoGo Sentai Boukenger! That’s right! Taking place after the events of the Boukenger TV series and around the middle of Gekiranger, this adventure follows our 2 teams as they battle against the deadly new Pachacamac XII and his Space Kimpo.

If you don’t want to be spoiled by some of the events in Boukenger it may be best not to watch this film yet, just fair warning to all. But if you do watch it, remember to join our Gekiranger Vs. Boukenger Discussion and you’ll be automatically entered in our FREE DVD GIVEAWAY!

So Let’s Watch Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger Vs. GoGo Sentai Boukenger!
