As the debut date for Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger gets closer more images are uncovered, the full shot of the Itashar Robo as well as the MMZ-01 Gun/Henshin device!
Another Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger promo has landed on youtube courtesy of Bandai, and features yet another Super Sentai guest star. This time is non other than Ban Akaza (played by Ryuujei Sainei) aka Deka Red from Tokusou Sentai Dekranger!
According to animenewsnetwork, the video opens with Ban being asked what he thinks of the Akibarangers, with him replying “I’ve been taking pride in being a hero … so … I kind of don’t like heroes being treated like a joke….”

BandaiJP’s youtube account has uploaded the second trailer for the forthcoming Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger!
This second promo features a better look at the series villain Marushina (played by Honoka), the transformation device used by the Akibarangers and even a surprise appearance from Bouken Yellow/Natsuki Mamiya (played by Chise Nakamura) from GoGo Sentai Boukenger!

Well, the burning question about Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger have been answered, the suit actors for Akiba-Yellow and Akiba-Blue are indeed female suit actresses according to Henshingrid. To top it off? They are gorgeous! The two female suit actors are Haruka Oshima and Fusaya Fujita. Also accompany the article are names of more suit actors, even the suit actors from Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters.

Courtesy of BandaiJP, the first 35-second promo for the forthcoming Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger has landed on Youtube! While it doesn’t offer much in terms of storyline, it gives is the first glimpse of the suits in action and that the show will continue the Sentai tradition of plenty of explosions!

Hot on the heels of news of Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger figuarts, issue #169 of toy magazine Figure Oh has revealed news and images of the cast for the show.
The Akibarangers is made of: Nobuo Akagi/AkibaRed (played by Masato Wada), Mizuki Aoyagi/AkibaBlue (Kyoko Hinami), and Moegi Yumeria/AkibaYellow (Karin Ogino). Professor Hiroyo will be played by Maya Uchida, and villain Marushina be played by Honoka.
The Akibarangers transformation item is a doll, and each them are also equipped with a gun named the MMZ-01 “Moe Moe Zukyuun”. Their main mode of transportation is the Machine Itassha, a customized car covered in anime decals.
Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger premieres April 6th on BS Asahi at 1:30am. If this alone didn’t suggest the series is aimed at an adult audience, it’s tagline is “Good kids, stay away from this show. Got it?”

Bandai’s Tamashii Nations website has revealed the heroes from the forthcoming Hikōnin Sentai Akibaranger (Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger)!
The series is set to premier in April and follows three people who live in Akihabara’s Electric Town among other otaku. When they learn that a malevolent entity plans to annihilate their neighborhood, they become warriors to wipe out evil — with the help of super gear created by a beautiful and brilliant genius.

Along with the 36th Super Sentai Series, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, Toei plans to launch a second live action Sentai series this year titled: Hikōnin Sentai Akibaranger. The story will follow three protagonists who live in Akihabara’s Electric Town “among other otaku”. The trio learn of plans to destroy their neighborhood by an evil entity, so they become warriors to defend their town.
People working on this show include Kamen Rider’s (Director) Ryuta Tazaki, Tiger and Bunny’s (director/character designer) Keiichi Satou, Spice and Wolf’s (writer) Naruhisa Arakawa and Ghost in the Shell’s (composer) Kenji Kawai. You can check out the official site by clicking here.
