Thanks to site sponsor Tokullectibles, we have a look at an upcoming re-release of TyrannoKing from their Power Rangers Dino Force dub of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger.  In South Korea, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger was dubbed as Power Rangers Dino Force, and Kyoryujin was renamed TyrannoKing.

This re-release features some differences from the original release – different styled Zyudenchi and some missing paint on Tyrannoking.  See the images attached to the story for full details.

Tonight was the official Toei press conference for the newest Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider Gotchard! The principle cast for this new series has finally been revealed!

*Kamen Rider Gotchard (real name Hotaro Ichinose)is played by Motojima Junsei. Hotaro is a high school student supporting his mother and their family restaurant while looking for a skill to properly call his own. One day Hotaro discovers the Alchemy Academy hidden in his school, and begins to learn about the mysterious magic of the Chemie cards. A chance encounter with the Chemy Hopper leads to Hotaro activating the powers of a Kamen Rider!

*Joining Gotchard is Kudo Rinn (played by Matsumoto Reiyo– Hotaro’s best friend, a top student in their high school AND alchemy classes. She is the daughter of a legendary alchemist named Fuga who stole the original Chemy Cards 10 years before the series began.

*Yasunari Fujibayashi portrays the stern and serious Alchemy Academy graduate Spana Kuragan, possessing the power to transform into an elite warrior known as Valvarad.

*Alchemy Academy tutors Abe Otsu & Sabimaru Tsuruhaya (played by Icho Renge and Rikiya Tomizono respectively will teach Hotaro & Rinn on the properties of the Chemy Cards.

*The main villains of this season are a group known as the Three Sisters Of Darkness– consisting of Atropos, Kroto & Lachesis played by Geno Okita, Kanon Miahara, & Arisa Sakami respectively. The Sisters are powerful alchemists who seek the Chemy Cards for their own agenda.

The main theme song for Kamen Rider Gotchard is titled CHEMY X STORY and will be performed by the group Back-On.

A plethora of new images for the upcoming Kamen Rider Gotchard have been posted on Amazon Japan! This offers some extra details on the upcoming series.

Beyond the recently documented Gotchard Driver the first quarter lineup will feature:

*The DX Gotcharge Gun! This is Kamen Rider Gotchards’ signature weapon, which scans Chemy Cards for attacks. The DX release includes 3 cards: Skebows, Golddash & Bulletbang.

*Gotchard will have an action figure subline known as Souchaku Henshin! This line features transformable armor for a base Gotchard figure. The first Souchaku Henshin set features 3 armor configurations: Gotchards’ base form SteamHopper along with AppareSkebo and AntWrestler.

In addition, these new toy listings may have given us our first look at the antagonist Rider entity for this series- a mysterious figure known as Valvaradas.

*The ValvaraDraw Holder keeps this warriors’ cards. This DX release includes the GekioCopter & GorillaSensei Chemi Cards.

*The ValvaRusher is Valvaradas’ main weapon, a sword shaped like a wrench that can also scan cards. The MadWheel, CutsShovel & HiiRescue Chemi Cards are included with the DX release.

Your chance at grabbing some of your favorite Heisei era Kamen Rider S.H. Figuarts is coming your way to start off 2024!  Tamashii Nations has announced Kamen Rider S.H. Figuarts Heisei Generations Edition – a re-release of some classic Kamen Rider S.H. Figuarts – available as a mainline retail release.  These are NOT brand new molds but rather the original molds simply re-issued.  There is one difference – these S.H. Figuarts come with all their classic weapons!  For those who recall, Tamashii Nations started releasing key accessories for the main Rider’s form in various other releases (example – to get the sword for Kamen Rider Drive you had to purchase a secondary form).

The characters releasing are:

  • Kamen Rider Drive
  • Kamen Rider Ghost
  • Kamen Rider Ex-Aid
  • Kamen Rider Build
  • Kamen Rider Zi-o

These Kamen Rider S.H. Figuarts Heisei Generations Edition figures will release in January 2024 in Japan (no US release) for 7,700 yen.

Bandai Japan has uploaded the first official review of the next Kamen Rider henshin device!

The DX Gotchard Driver is used by new Rider Kamen Rider Gotchard! This new device operates by scanning Chemy Cards– place cards in both Driver slots to activate new forms, weapons and powers. This release includes 5 Cards:


*SteamLiner
*Hopper1
*AppareBushido
*BeepMariner
*Odorippa

This new Driver hits stores on September 2 2023 with a price of 7920 Yen. Chemy Card packs sold separately will range from 110-220 Yen.

A new figure joins the shelves of the Desire Grand Prix!

This is our first look at the SH Figuarts release of Kamen Rider Gazer! As seen in Kamen Rider Geats this Gazer release comes with the Providence Card along with alternate head and armor configurations.

SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Gazer is scheduled for release in January 2024 with a price of 8800 Yen before shipping and handling.

A new round of magazine scans for the Super Sentai series Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger has been posted online!

The highlight this month is the newest addition to the King-Ohger arsenal: the Caucasus Kabuto! The ancient castle of Shuggodom awakens in ShuGod form with tremendous new powers. King Caucasus Kabuto has a unique Guardian Weapon that activates alongside the castle- Guardian Hercules transforms into the Hercules Axe.

When all TWENTY of the ShuGods are awakened, they may unite as one tremendous fighting force: God King-Ohger!

In the fourth quarter for Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger the previous “King” for Super Sentai will return with Kyoryu Red returning to hang out with all the other fellow kings!  But in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, Bandai will be releasing a brand new DX Kyoryujin 2023 of the original mecha, complete with brand new knee and elbow joints and compatibility with the King-Ohger mecha.
