During today’s POWER WEEK livestream, Hasbro revealed a number of new entries coming to the Power Rangers Lightning Collection.

*First up is the long-awaited Beast Morphers Yellow Ranger! At last completing the core Beast Morphers team, Yellow will be part of Wave 13- tentatively scheduled for release in 2023.

*Next comes the Dino Charge Blue Ranger! This figure will also be released in Wave 13.

*Furthermore, some previously-announced figures were shown in full detail- Time Force Blue Ranger, Wild Force Blue Ranger & Snizzard!

Rounding out today’s event was a new roleplay entry for the Lightning Collection- the Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger Morpher! This will be a GameStop exclusive, scheduled for release in October 2022 and priced at $55.99.

Two more Deluxe entries for the Power Rangers Lightning Collection are on the way!

*First up is the iconic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers monster SNIZZARD! The serpentine creature is recreated with his iconic weaponry and a variety of effects.

*Next is the Time Force Blue Ranger! Time Force Blue comes with his Vector Cycle vehicle for extra play value.

A second Power Rangers X Street Fighter figure is on the way!

The iconic fighter Chun-Li gains the morphing power of the Blazing Phoenix in the Battle for the Grid.

Lightning Collection Morphed Chun-Li is scheduled for release in February 2023 and priced at $33.99 USD.

Longtime friend of the site and contributor Eric Berry (@trekkieb47) was fortunate enough to attend the Radiant Black pre-event at this year’s C2E2 in Chicago, Illinois.  The following is his review of the experience of meeting the team behind the Massive-verse – Kyle Higgins, Ryan Parrott, Mat Groom, Melissa Flores, and more!

C2E2 is the essential convention experience in the midwest and, every year since 2010, C2E2 has delivered some of the best entertainment guests and comic creators from around the world.

To match that hype, Kyle Higgins of Black Market Narrative announced the “Radiant Black X Lockport” event through the Black Market News Substack (https://kyledhiggins.substack.com/) back in June. If you’re not subscribed, definitely check it out as soon as possible so you don’t miss any news!

But why Lockport, Illinois? Lockport is a smaller city 30 miles southwest of Chicago, near Joliet. It’s where writer Kyle Higgins is from and is the setting for his Massive-Verse series, Radiant Black. In Issue 1, we meet Nathan Burnett, a down on his luck writer that’s in debt and has to move back in with his parents in, you guessed it… Lockport, Illinois.

A unique new entry for the Power Rangers Lightning Connection has just been announced!

Following on the Power Rangers X Street Fighter crossover special from the Legacy Wars video game, the Street Fighter character RYU will be joining the Lightning Collection in his morphed form as the Crimson Hawk Ranger!

Lightning Collection Morphed Ryu- Crimson Hawk Ranger is currently scheduled for release in Spring 2022 and priced at $33.99 USD.

Toei has revealed three more members of the DESIRE GRAND PRIX in Kamen Rider Geats!

*Kamen Rider Merry– the Sheep Rider whose real name is Morio Koganaya. Merry is described as “clumsy, cunning & a little annoying.” Merry is played by Koji Abe.

*Kamen Rider Dapan– the Panda Rider- named Kanato Sumida is a Rider with a cute face covering his scary behavior. Dapan is portrayed by Ryunosuke Miyamoto.

*Kamen Rider Shiro– the Polar Bear Rider with the civilian identity of Takeshi Gotokuji is said to be a speedy warrior with a strong sense of justice. Shiro is portrayed by tokusatsu veteran Yamato Kaneshiro, best known as Nossan/Kyoryu Blue in Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger.

*Kamen Rider Ginpen– the Penguin Rider is the oldest participant to date; a company executive named Takato Taira with a link to Kamen Rider Tycoon. Ginpen’s actor is Tomoharu Hasegawa.

A surprise release for Kamen Rider Revice fans!

The official Toei Youtube channel has uploaded the first episode of Kamen Rider Revice with English subtitles.

The celebration of Kamen Rider W thanks to Fuuto PI continues!

Announced today via the Bandai Spirits livestream is a S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou release of Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker Xtreme!  The figure comes with the prismbicker sword and shield as well as the Prism Gaia Memory.

The releases for Kamen Rider Revice just keep on coming!  Announced on the Bandai Spirits livestream today was the commercialization decision for Kamen Rider Live S.H. Figuarts Bat Genome and Jackal Genome!  And if that wasn’t enough to get you interested in picking the release up, the release will also come with a Kamen Rider Evil cracked helmet.  This is a single figure with the ability to have pieces added or removed to achieve either Bat or Jackal Genome form.
