The official TV-Asahi page for the 40th Super Sentai Series, Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger has been opened! This gives us a plethora of new information about this upcoming series!

First off, a basic story outline has been posted:
Zyuland, a world parallel to ours, is attacked by aliens, the Deathgalian. Four of its inhabitants (called Zyuman), Sera, Leo, Tusk and Amu call for help a young man from our world, Yamato. After taking human form, they all five form the Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger!

Next, we have the Zyuohger main cast!
*Nakao Masaki plays Yamato Kazakiri/Zyuoh Eagle
*Miki Yanagi portrays Sera/Zyuoh Shark
*Nanba Shohei has the role of Leo/Zyuoh Lion
*Tsurugi Watanabe will play Tusk/Zyuoh Elephant
*Haruka Tateishi is Amu/Zyuoh Tiger
The four Zyuland Rangers are show to have animal-based alternate forms, similar to the Fist Sages from Gekiranger.

Rounding out the primary cast is Susumu Terajima, a veteran actor who will play Yamato’s uncle- an animal sculptor.

Last but CERTAINLY not least, we have learned the production crew for this new series!
*Zyuogher’s head writer is Junko Komura, previously the secondary writer for Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger and Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger.
*The series’ main director is Takayuki Shibazaki, whose resume includes Kamen Rider OOO, Kamen Rider Drive, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters and several others.
*Primary action director for Zyuohger is Hirofumi Fukuzawa, a long-time stunt actor who portrayed the Red Ranger in nearly every Super Sentai from Gaoranger to Gokaiger.
*Finally, the main producer is one Takaki Utsunomiya, veteran of Kamen Rider Wizard and Ressha Sentai ToQGer.

The first magazine scans for the 40th Super Sentai Series have been posted online! In addition to some fantastic new shots of this upcoming team, we appear to have an accepted English spelling for the series- Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger!

While story details are unfortunately lacking at this time, we have learned that each Zyuohger has a personal title (likely part of the teams’ roll call) relating to their animal spirit. The Zyuohgers are referred to as Ohja– meaning Ruler or Monarch.

*Zyuoh Eagle is Ruler of the Skies
*Zyuoh Shark Monarch of the Rough Seas
*Zyuoh Lion is Ruler of the Savannah
*Zyuoh Elephant is Monarch of Forests
*Zyuoh Tiger is Ruler of the Snow Fields

These scans also give us some excellent up-close looks at the teams’ arsenal, including the Zyuoh Buster, the Eagrizer, and the Monarch of Robots, Zyuoh King!

Another image of the 40th Super Sentai Doubutsu Sentai Jyuuouger toyline has surfaced online, giving us a much closer look at new Red Ranger Jyuuou Eagle transforming into an even more powerful form- Jyuuou Gorilla!

The form-change is referred to as Visor Up in the catalog; Jyuuou Eagle pushes the “beak” portion of his helmet upward to channel his second animal spirit. And this is more than just a cosmetic variation- Jyuuou Gorilla is depicted with HUGE muscles to signify the increase in power!

Some new images from the Dobutsu Sentai Jyuuouger merchandise catalog have surfaced online!

For starters, we have our first look at this years’ transformation device- the Jyuuou Changer! This Changer appears to be a cube that can be converted into a cellphone.

Next, we get to see this teams’ main weapon- the Jyuuou Buster! This is a gun with attachment options for Jyuuou Cubes (exact effects unknown at time of writing).

Last but certainly not least, we have a clear image of the team logo! This artwork combines the various animal spirits for a very distinctive visual style.

The wait is finally over, the leaks have begun! Doubutsu Sentai Jyuuouger is at last revealed! After a behind the scenes image was taken of the series Cube Animals on set yesterday we’re finally being treated to our first looks at this series toy catalog.

These new images provide us with our first look at the Jyuuougers themselves. Jyuuou Eagle, Jyuuou Shark, Jyuuou Lion, Jyuuou Elephant, & Jyuuou Tiger. Jyuuou Gorilla is absent for now. We also get our first peek at DX Jyuuou King! Composed of the first 3 Cube Animals (Eagle, Shark Lion) as revealed in toy information released late last week. Further images show us the basic cube forms of these 3 as well as reveal the animal forms of the first 7 Cube Animals including Cube Gorilla & Cube Giraffe.

While we eagerly await images of Doubutsu Sentai Jyuuoger, blurry official or otherwise, it looks like we may have just gotten a very early reveal of the series mecha!

Thanks to a post by twitter user @__k_e_i_ we have what appears to be a first look at the physical props of the first 5 Cube Animals as well as the lower half of either Jyuuojin/Jyuuo King or Jyuuo Wild. We want to stress right now that we still don’t have all the information in regards to this image, or even necessarily the toy line. But it certainly appears to be right on the money with some of the more solid rumors circulating now.

It’s time for another blast of rumors coming in for the next Super Sentai series titled Doubutsu Sentai Jyuuouger! As always, take everything with a grain of salt for now. With information coming in from dukemon22 at Rangerboard.com, we’re getting a more clear picture on just what exactly may be coming down the pipe from this new series.

For starters – we already know based on the name of the series that there will be some sort of animal motif that’s played upon whether it be the suits or the mecha. But now things are tightening up a bit in terms of what we might exactly see. Current whispers show that we may end up with a core team of three – a Red Ranger bird of prey theme, a Blue Ranger shark theme, and a Yellow Ranger leopard theme who is also female. Two more Rangers will join up a little in to the series, a man and woman combo.

Lastly, the mech. Current rumor has it having a lion form, while the wings of the bird of pray mecha would wrap around the head of the leopard to create the “lion” visual. No matter what ends up coming out, this sounds pretty cool and is worth discussing!

We’ve also included an image that’s circulating Twitter right now. Many believe this could actually be ToQ-1, but others have stated that you can clearly see black cuffs around the arm and the boot, which ToQ-1 does not have. Is this our first look at Jyuuouger?
