After an extensive hiatus, new episodes of Power Rangers are returning to television!

The brand-new season, Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel will begin on Saturday, January 27 2018 only on Nickelodeon!

Super Ninja Steel kicks off with the episode ECHOES OF EVIL and sees the Rangers facing a villain presumed destroyed. A brief teaser for this new episode & season has been posted online:

This will be the TWENTY-FIFTH season of Power Rangers, and a special anniversary episode will air during Super Ninja Steel celebrating the franchises’ long history.

Today on the Twitch TV live stream of the Power Rangers Ninja Steel panel, a trailer for the upcoming Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel season premiered. At the end of the trailer, the statement was made of “And a TWIST you won’t believe” … to the image of Sledge and Wrench, two villains from Power Rangers Dino Charge, walking through the ruins of the Galaxy Warriors stage.

What does this mean? Does it tie in to the 25th Anniversary Special airing next summer? Who knows! But the hype is real for Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel.

The newest Power Rangers season has only just concluded filming, and already new details are starting to leak out revealing the future adventures of Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel!

A souvenir cast T-Shirt from the 25h Season reveals a new villain, unlike any previous Ninja Steel enemies. Some Super Sentai fans have suggested this character may be based on the villain from the Shuriken Sentai Ninninger summer movie (which, if true, would mark the second time in a row that Power Rangers used a Sentai Movie-exclusive character as primary antagonist). However, the exact details are unconfirmed at time of writing.

For those of you who like salt please take a moment to swallow a 50lbs bag of it. Coming out of the blue is a claim by the YouTube channel “That Hashtag Show” of a list of returning Power Rangers to Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel airing in 2018. Included in this claim is that many of these returning Power Rangers are around for more than a single episode, and that some have focus episodes (akin to the Jungle Fury episode of Power Rangers Super Megaforce).

Again – this is information released by That Hashtag Show (whom have ties with MMPR Toys, Power Morphicon, etc.). However, with the slip of the tongue by the Ninja Steel Red Ranger earlier this year stating that previous Power Rangers were returning for Super Ninja Steel, this may shed some light on what we can expect for the 25th anniversary of Power Rangers.
