And we’re back with another Ultra-Act gallery! You may remember our little segment on Let’s Watch Wednesdays last year featuring Ultraman Nexus. Is so you’re in luck, today’s gallery is of none other than Ultraman Noa!
Noa is the true and Ultimate form of The Next & Ultraman Nexus. A being of immeasurable power Noa has protected his universe for hundreds of thousands of years. Dark Zagi was even cloned from Noa by the Visitors in the hopes of creating a second great hero. In an ironic twist of this relationship the Ultra-Act Noa figure is a remold of Ultra-Act Dark Zagi instead. As yet another excellent addition to the Ultra-Act line, Noa has received a gorgeous design & sculpt as well as selection of accessories despite his extremely limited appearances.

A companion piece to the previously released Ultra-Act Dark Zagi today's gallery focuses on Ultra-Act Ultraman Noa!
Noa is the ultimate and true form of Ultraman Nexus. An Ultra from long ago and far away, he is thought to be nearly 350,000 years old. Noa has also had encounters with the "Showa/M78" universe leaving quite the impression with his multiversal counterparts. Even going so far as to provide Ultraman Zero with his Ultimate Form powers in the Revenge of Belial film. A protector of peace since ancient times, it is he who inspired the Visitors to create Zagi. In fact Zagi is a dark and twisted clone of Noa. The progression of Noa's forms are as such:
The Next Anphans
The Next Junis
Nexus Anphans
Nexus Junis
Nexus Junis Blue
Noa
Only seen in the final episode of Ultraman Nexus Noa rose up thanks to the efforts of the final Deunamist, Komon Kazuki , to fight and destroy Dark Zagi once and for all. The series itself was cut down from it's original 50 episode run to a mere 37. Thus cutting short the life of this awesomely designed Ultra. But we here at Tokunation hosted a Let's Watch Wednesdays for Ultraman Nexus and we're proud to present this gallery is in honor of that segment!
Now ironically enough, Noa is a remold of Zagi. Considering Zagi's nature as a clone of Noa in series this is pretty funny. Noa takes the Zagi sculpt and slaps a rather gorgeous silver paint job on it. It also adds the pair of large Noa Aegis wing like structures to the back. Though not necessary Bandai has seen fit to articulate these on side to side hinges for better accentuation of poses.
Noa only includes 2 extra sets of hands, but taking into account his mere half an episode appearance he doesn't exactly have any iconic poses to leave out. He also include his Lightning Noa beam effect part as well as two replaceable shoulder pads to replicate his energy charging technique. And a small plug is included to replace a chunk of his back and allow for Tamashii stage use.
Ultra-Act Ultraman Noa is a surprisingly refreshing remold of an already excellent toy. For a character and frankly universe, that Bandai has mostly forgotten about since it's inception, the Ultra N Project characters have been receiving major love in the last year. I don't like Noa's design as much as the Nexuseseses but I do like him! He still makes for a cool figure.
