Absent from San Diego Comic Con 2016 but teased for Power Morphicon 5, Bandai America delivered – the first wave of Power Rangers Ninja Steel product was revealed this past weekend! On display were the following items:
- 5″ Figures (Red, White, Pink, Blue, Yellow Ninja Steel Rangers)
- Ninja Steel Megazord (combined and individual zords)
- Ninja Steel sword (name not yet revealed)
- Ninja Steel blaster (name not yet revealed)
- Ninja Star Morpher
Bandai America also answered a few questions about this upcoming product. Jokingly, they stated the slits in the skirts for the 5″ female Rangers was done because they were tired of not being able to pose them in more than one pose at all the conventions (in reality, they heard the feedback from fans and made the change for this toy line). These figures are a new production run of the Bandai Japan Ninninger figures, and the females are brand new molds. The sword accessory is also larger than the Bandai Japan one. The ninja stars that you see are rough mock-ups, the actual final versions did not ship in time for them to be displayed with the product. They will be a soft foam like plastic because kids will want to throw them, but they will be fun and of course, very collectible.

So the sword is not the morpher?

I realize that I'm in the minority of fans on this, possibly even the only one on this site, but I think the toys for this new show look good. Not sure what all I'll get yet, but I think I'll at least get the morpher and a figure of the Blue Ranger.
My only real hopes/wants for the Ninja Steel toy line, is the burger morpher (which relies on Saban using it in the show) and for the NS Rangers to get Legacy line figures while it's still on TV.
Oh, and the sword is called the DX Ninja Star Blade.

The megazord looks like the DX and minipla had a baby otherwise not bad, dragon mode still seems to be in it.
Now I just have to hope the show is at least decent.

is it me or does the face look a lot better on this megazord than on shurikenjin?? like you just need the eye liner on this one but i feel like this face looks a lot more accurate.

Kind of hoping we get some 5 inch figures of Shinobimaru and Rodeomaru so I don't have to pay ridiculous prices for the SSA ones . Not sure if I want to go 5 inch for the Rangers just so the monsters will scale with them or hold out for the probably better Legacy that I'd hope Bandai is smart enough to do while the show is still on.

So uh... huh. Pink is very visibly wearing white thigh-high stockings. That's a thing. Yes, I know, it's how her suit looked in the show. But in the show it didn't look so.. Why the living Gosei they need to design female figures like that (Or the steroided male ones) I'll never know. But damn. Anyway. I do like how the Megazord looks, I'm honestly surprised they kept the sitdown functionality. I thought for sure they'd cheap on it somehow. It's Bandai of America, they have a reputation. And if I read right the figures of the rangers should fit in it too? That's awesome in itself. Still wish there was more paint but BoA never has the budget for that.

Hmm... no peg on the back of the Megazord... is there any other way to store Dumpmaru's arm when the auxillary zords are used then?
