After a short break for the Christmas holiday, Let’s Watch Wednesdays @ Tokunation is back! On Thursday! Remember that next week we’ll also be doing a Thursday Edition due to the New Years holiday. But for now, what terrible secrets lie hidden for Kamen Rider Blade?
The terrible truth of Kenzaki’s King Form revealed! The secret of Dr. Hirose & the Trials uncovered. To discover the secret of Eternal life another Joker will be forced into existence. The longer he fights as a Kamen Rider the closer Kenzaki will be to becoming that monster. But if Hajime could evolve past the chaos of Joker surely Kenzaki can, right? And what greater power is at work in the dealings of the Trials? What power does the Stone of Sealing contain? Most important of all, will Leangle ever be free of the Spider?

Dr. Hirose - Trial B
Tenounji - Master
Mutsuki - Free?

What a week. Two subplots done in one week. We had Skeithletor, which is by far my favorite design for the Artificial Undeads. His skull and staff were just nothing short of pure bad assery. And of course this lead to the death of Hirose, for real this time.
And of course, the biggest subplot of the series, Mutsuki has finally conquered the Spider Undead's power in an awesome fight. Actually, both of these episodes were incredible despite Nozomi's unwitting stubbornness to not give up on Mutsuki. Only in Japan will you have a woman be battered around left and right and still... oh... nevermind.
I do love how the Tiger Undead was not even really evil, she was just trying to survive throughout the day only to make the ultimate sacrifice all because of some food. And here they say only a man can be given love through his stomach.
BTW, what is up with people only wearing earrings on one ear? Both Mustuki and Tennouji only wear earrings on one side. OH well, that is a question I will never get answered in the remaining 7 episodes. Lastly, I almost forgot to mention that I really like the concept of two Undeads being one.

Darn good episode of Blade with Hirose's final episode. Really liked the inclusion of rain and mud to really make it seem extra sad and grimy. One of the things I like with this series is how they change up the settings and time of day or night in each episode. Heck, the concept of scenes happening at night seems like a foreign concept with the more recent Rider series.
I was really thinking Mutsuki was done and stuck as the semi-bad-guy-spider mix. Nice to see that finally get resolved, and nicely done using the Tiger Undead who you could never be entirely sure about with her allegiance. This show really improved once the Undead started have human alter-egos.

These episodes and last weeks really marked a turning point in the series for me. So glad to finally be done with the whole Mutsuki is an evil dick thing. And what a badass way to finally finish off the Spider.

I was kind of let down when Mutsuki was fighting against Category Ace. He defeated him like nothing with the help of Kenzaki's blade!

Now that all four Riders are good, it will be interesting to see how Hiroshi will try to split them apart and what his end game is

Good episodes but nothing compared to the next episodes

More good stuff with this batch of episodes. Trial G was pretty cool, and all four Riders ganging up on it to bring it down was a cool site to see. The conclusion of the Trial B story was touching. To see the will of Shiori's father break through at the last minute and save her from being killed was great. And they created a good atmosphere for the moment with the rain and mud(also the let the Rider suits get dirty? Don't see that often, impressive).
On the other side of major events, we finally have Mutsuki's battle with the Category Ace come to an end. I really iked how the Tiger Undead chose to let herself by Mutsuki so she could help him finally seal the Ace. Goes with what we learned with Shima that not all Undead are evil. Seeing the King and Ace Undead suits duking out was a neat effect for the battle, and I liked Kenzaki leant his sword to Mutsuki to deal the final blow.
Lastly, we have the final Category King make its appearance and learn that this Battle Fight is false. Also we have Tennouji looking more omnious by having an Undead under his control and possessing a card that made the Tiger Undead scared of him. Things are going to be really interesting as we enter the final two weeks of the show.

these episodes were great. I love that finally category Ace is at last put down. That Undead was really annoying even after being sealed.
