Kamen Rider Gaim toys just continue to flood the market! And today is no different, in this weeks installment of Toy Tuesdays @ TokuNation we’re bringing you a gallery of another of these recent releases in the form of S.H. Figuarts Sakura Hurricane!
Sakura Hurricane is of course the sweet sweet trans-dimensional hopping bike of our titular hero. Previously a “DX” lock seed style Lock Vehicle of this bike had been released by Bandai of Japan as a part of the Gaim main line of toys. But now collector’s finally have this wonderful addition for their collections. Though it doesn’t feature the spiffy transformation gimmick of the Lock Vehicles line, it does have a fantastic sculpt and a premium paint job. Though commonly for an SHF vehicle it’s lacking in the accessories department.
Read on by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to see the entire review and gallery of this wonderful piece. And be sure to check back next Tuesday when we bring you the first in a pair of themed gallery from the Showa Era of Kamen Rider. Next weeks it’s a doubled up gallery of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Black & Battle Hopper!

Lock on!
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim came out last month and what an excellent figure he was. But this month a companion piece to that figure has been released. A rider without a ride is no rider at all! But luckily Gaim has one in the form of S.H. Figuarts Sakura Hurricane!
This bike is the first vehicle released in the SHF line for Kamen Rider Gaim. So as an initial outing for Gaim, how does it stack up to previous rider bikes? Read on!
The Sakura Hurricane is, as the name implies, a flower themed bike based on the sakura/cherry blossom iconic to Japan. Thus far each of the vehicles featured in Gaim are in fact all based on flowers of one type or another. Though the theme isn't overt it's clearly there. The bike itself is pretty gorgeous though. It certainly has a "premium" paint job when compared to the "dx" style Lock vehicles released in the Gaim main toyline.
When compared to the Lock Vehicle version this Sakura Hurricane is far far nicer. Clearly each of these lines is aimed at an entirely different market so there should be differences. And clearly the SHF doesn't have the transformation gimmick, nor the compatibility with other DX toys in the line such as the Sengoku Driver. What it does have going for it is an excellent paint job and a fantastic sculpt that makes it stand out even among other more recent SHF bikes.
And as has become tradition with S.H. Figuarts rider bikes they include generally only a few accessories. In this case a clear wheel stand for the bike and a replaceable set of handlebars and mirrors. It would seem these are a just in case type of accessory, something you might need if you break these fragile little parts.
Clearly Gaim looks like he was born to be on this bike. It was made for him! If the other Gaim related bikes in the line are at all similar to this release then they'll be nothing but must owns for me personally. They may not do a lot, but when do SHF rider bikes ever do an amazing number of things other than look like a sweet rider? I'd recommend getting this if you're a completionist like me and really want to see Gaim on his bike, but if you can live without it it's also probably best to go with that instinct.

Oh I need me one of those to go with my Gaim. Very much.

Gaim continues to shine in every gallery.

I totally want a Ichigo Arms to ride this to replicate the escape from Helheim/Endor scene
A few Kurokage/Dandeliners would be awesome
I hope Bandai does a Kurokage/Dandeliner 2-pack, as well as a troop builder set of 3x Kurokages

I really don't know if I want to get this or the Lock Vehicle.
On the one hand, the LV has more functionality. On the other... the SHF is GORGEOUS.

That looks good (and I can't wait until the Rose Attacker, it looks even better), but I can never justify the bikes. I never see them for under $40 (unless it's the Masslinger), and that's about twice what I'd ever pay for a glorified accessory.

This is my first Figuarts bike, I really like it. I don't own the Lock Vehicle version specifically because I planned on just getting this one instead, and I'm definitely glad I did. Only problem I've had with it is that it's made me want more to spend more money on bikes!

I dont have any bikes, but man this is a tempting one.

Shouldn't this have included a lockseed to hang on Gaim's belt?
