Today is a historic day for American tokusatsu fans.
August 28th 1993 was the day that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers premiered! What began as an adptation of 1 Japanese super hero program (Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger) eventually blossomed in to a multi year franchise that's one of the most successful and lasting brands out there!

And NOW we can say that the "Power Rangers 20" thing is no longer relevant. Yeah, it was annoying having people say that 2014 meant the 20 had to pack up and leave when officially we had 8 more months of nostalgic fun.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PR!

I got into Power Rangers sometime before Season 2 started. My oldest PR memory is that I remember seeing a Red Ranger figure at the toy store and I bag my dad to buy it because it look like a T-rex. I've been hook since then.

The introduction of the Ninja Zords. I loved those damned things. I remember when the show first started and I thought someone tried making a live action Voltron. This is before I even knew what Super Sentai was. And I know I look back at that first season and laugh.

I absolutely loved the ninja and shogun Megazords (plus the falcon zord too). I live them so much I got both of them just now I'm missing the metal bar for the bear zord and the sword for the shogun Megazord. (Planning on getting reprolabels for both)

Lets see, back in 2002, I stayed the night with my uncle and my cousin. He showed me this VHS of some thing called Power Rangers Wild Force, I liked it. It was fun to see. The next night, or the same night I dont remember now honestly, we watched MMPR The Movie, I loved it as well. I started noticing the toys in stores and I started watching Power Rangers with Ninja Storm. I have loved it since. Even when I fell out a bit, I was still loving it. I owe this franchise a lot.
I would go into my favorite, but honestly, just look at Jungle Fury, every bit of it is my favorite. I cant talk about one thing of it, without the rest.

I remember coming home from school with my cousin and watching tv during our after school snack. My aunt turned on fox kids and PR came on; Day of the Dumpster. Completely rocked my world, I couldn't stop talking about it the next day at school.

I remember I missed the season 2 premiere because of kung-fu lessons. How funny. My grandma bought me my first zord that year too, the red dragon zord. Good times. This is when I start feeling old.
