This year at SDCC 2015 there was no shortage of exclusives for Power Rangers. One of my personal favorites and the only one I actually stood in line for was the exclusives for The Loyal Subjects, who were offering both crystal and metal versions of their very popular and very successful action vinyl line of figures based on the original series.
The first figure available from the convention was none other than the crystal Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger.
The Figure
The figure is cast in 100% translucent plastic save for the head, the hands, and the feet. The blue plastic being made translucent turned out absolutely beautiful in my opinion. With the right lighting the figure really shines. As for quality issues or concerns, the figure is a little loose but nothing the usual simple fixes can take care of.
The Accessories
These figures are packed with accessories! First off, you get a removable helmet (it is two pieces that snap together on the figure) which is translucent as well. Then, you got the Blade Blaster (but only in blaster form) as well as the Power Lance. The weapons are not cast in clear plastic, and that's fine - they go very well with the figure in its translucent glory.

If you're a fan of the action vinyl figures from The Loyal Subjects, or you're simply a fan of the Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger, then this figure is a must-buy in my opinion. Having not dared seek out and attempt to collect all the original figures, I am perfectly content with having this as my only version. It displays beautifully. Casual collectors beware - you will get hooked.
