Today is the official “launch day” for the Power Rangers Movie toys! And as fans rush out to their local Toys’R’Us stores to grab themselves some new Power Rangers Movie toys, RangerNation.com has shared some of the upcoming toy images.
We get our first look at the 5″ Movie figures. Red Ranger comes with his Power Sword, while Blue, Black, Pink and Yellow come with … blue fire-effect fist weapons. At this time, it’s hard to say whether or not they will have their traditional weapons like the Red Ranger or not, but some fans are expressing disappointment on social media. Also shown is Alpha 5.
We also get our first look at the Movie FX Red Ranger mask, complete with sounds from the Red Ranger in the Power Rangers Movie.

Only Red gets a unique weapon? That's kinda lame.
Oh well, still want these guys. Seeing them in-person only cemented that for me.
That Red Ranger mask would be perfect for that Stratos cosplay someone, somewhere is trying to put together.
Not bad for 5" action figures these days. I'll probably stick to the Legacy figures, but these would be good for my nephew. That Alpha though... yeeesh... of all the times to make a new Alpha action figure, they had to choose now...
Eh. Not my jam. I stick with the Legacy figures of those guys.
I may pass on most of the 5" figures and stick to Legacy, but will pry grab Alpha 5 because you know Alpha 5
Those are a step down from the generic knock-off Power Rangers figures from the early 90's that I got for Christmas from family members who didn't know the difference.
Red gets a weapon while the others get an energy effect? Aw. I was actually pretty curious about what their weapons would look like...
Okay, I was fine with the Alpha design before, but this?
I REALLY hope he looks better in the movie.
The Alpha Toy looks better then the art.
I was at my toys r us today. No go. But they did have a Lot of Ninja Steel.
