Some time ago, it was reported that Bandai Tamashii had obtained the rights to Pacific Rim and would be producing new toys based on the fan-favorite film.
Well, at last we see the first release under this license: a new version of the Jaeger Gipsy Danger as part of Bandai’s iconic Soul of Chogokin collector series! The massive fighting robot is recreated in brilliant diecast glory!

SOUL of Chogokin? A www man, that sucks. Not only is it too expensive, I was hoping for SRCs or RDs so we could get multiple Jaegers.
Still, I just love how years later Pacific Rim is still getting love from collector companies, and this will no doubt be an incredible figure?
On the one hand, finally a GOOD Pacific Rim toy. On the other hand, way, WAY, out of my price range.
I do hope this does well and we get more manageable on the wallet like SRCs or Robot Spirits later.
Eh, it's just the very first item tease. I'll still be hoping for SRC as well, but still seeing anything finally (as early a prototype as it may be) is cool.
Pretty cool on the SOC, design looks great. Was really hoping for SRC, to at least get some Monster Arts Kaiju in scale.
Tamashii rep at the event said it will be in scale with some monster stuff.
Whoa, what? I was not expecting that right out of the gate.
It looks cool, but i'm saving my bucks for the Megazord.
