Power Rangers 30th Anniversary Special Announced- Multiple Ranger Veterans Returning!

During today’s Hasbro Pulse premium livestream, a special project was announced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Power Rangers franchise.

A number of Ranger alumni will be returning to appear in this special presentation, including-

*Johnny Yong Bosch
*Walter Jones
*David Yost
*Steve Cardenas
*Karan Ashley
*Catherine Sutherland

Rounding out the cast is newcomer Charlie Kersh– who will be playing the daughter of Trini, the Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger.

    At PMC 2022 Walter Jones stated that if he were to ever return to the franchise he'd love for Zack to be the Black Omega Ranger. I really hope Cosmic Fury grants that wish.

    How do you balance this?

    Having them assume the same forms would split the Power and strain the Grid.

    "Dimensions in Danger" Master Morphers will get more screen time!

    The Omega Rangers may very well get some live-action suits for the first time in order to cover the form similarities. That said, I'm of the opinion that the BOOM! Continuity is NOT in canon with the show unless a specific arc is specifically stated to be or it's a side-story. Taking that to its logical conclusion, are the Omega Powers related to the show's backstory off-screen or will it be a new origin story entirely!?

    What, if any, Sentai footage will get used? For the love of Ninjor, don't use the 199!!!

    If the Omega Rangers aren't used, they could just have Zack be MMPR Black and Adam be Zeo Green. Easy fix.

    While that is one fix, we have to take Trini's daughter into account. One would assume that she'd be there to take up her mother's Yellow Ranger mantle. Aisha was the last known MMPR Yellow, but we know how her story ended (kinda). So we have a small conundrum here.

    True, but we don't know one way or the other if Trini's' daughter is going to actually be a Ranger or not.

    In the case that she is... then I have no idea how they'd justify it in terms of the lore of the series. Unless they decide to qualify the Ninjetti suits as their own separate thing via sheer technicality?

    I thought the Ninjetti suits were considered their own thing. Yes, they're part of the Ninja powers, but they had their own "morph" call, gesture, and sequences.

    To be honest, I'd rather they use Aisha's daughter or Aisha herself. I understand that the real events have nothing to do with the plot of the show, but still I have an unpleasant feeling about this decision.
