Akibaranger Season 2 S.H. Figuarts & Additional Images

Scans of the latest Figure-Oh Magazine, #181 have just hit and with them we get more looks at Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger Season 2! These images show off the new Akibaranger costumes in all their glory, noting the differences from the original suits to these new updates.

Also included in these scans are multiple images of the new trio of S.H. Figuarts Akibarangers which give us a better look at Cho Akibared as well as the new hairstyles for Yellow and Blue. A brief snippet on the side of the Season 1 recap page even gives us 2 new images of S.H. Figuarts Delu Knight and confirms his release in July for 3675 yen!

Last but not least is a pair of new images from Super Hero Taisen Z! One showing Wizard, Beast, and Goaki Silver facing off against Sharivan! And the other showing off more of the Space Shocker elite, the new buddyroid Chisato, as well as Gokai Silver disguised (or brainwashed?) as a Shocker Soldier!

The ribbons off Yellow's hair seem shorter on the figure. I nitpick, I'll probally end up getting Yellow and Blue.

Please don't let them start in June. I already have full plate for that month...

Who are you and what have you done with Sentai?

I may not like the show but I like the suit designs. Just not Red's armor, because that shit is creepy. But that won't stop me from buying the original Akiba Red and these versions of Yellow and Blue.

Creepy as that Cho armor is I still love it/find it hilarious.

I'll buy every single Akibaranger Figuart that gets made. I already own the damn $400 car, why stop now?

I'm in for all three. Akiba Red is a new form so he's bought, Akiba Blue is a new character so she's bought, and I may aswell just get Yellow to have a complete season 2 display

I'm hoping that too, but a June/July/August release again makes the most sense since it means the figures will start coming out as soon as the series finishes. But if the season one figures are anything to go by, these aren't going to be hard to get at a later date anyway.

Are those original Yellow and Blue heads just there to show off the differences, or are the new Figuarts gonna come with them in case you want one or the other? I'm gonna assume the former.

Looks like I'll just be buying the original AkibaRed and wait for the new trio.

I kinda like Super Red, and as sad as it is, I'll probably get Yellow and Blue, even though they're pretty miniscule tweeks from the season 1 figures.
