Could you possibly handle more Power Rangers Super Megaforce Galleries? We thought so!
Today we’ve scored the Deluxe Gosei Great Zord Armor Ranger set! This quirky set features an exo-suit armor for 4″ Ranger figures to wear. The suit itself is based on the Gosei Great Megazord featuring the same visor as the megaforce rangers though it has a color scheme that seems to borrow more from Gojyujin/Q-Rex Megazord.
As with any Zord Builder set this one can combine in any number of ways with the Legendary Megazord or other Legendary Zords/Vehicles. It also happens to have a molded in Ranger Key for it’s left arm! This key is compatible with all of Ranger Key activated gimmicks including the the Legendary Morpher’s!

Today's offering is the Deluxe Gosei Great Zord Armor Ranger set.
This set, while it may not look like it at first, is based on the Gosei Great Megazord. And while it does share some details with the Gosei Great, the predominantly blue and silver color scheme actually makes it look more like the DX Gojyujin from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger or the Q-Rex Megazord as it will be known in the Power Rangers Super Megaforce.
Likeness aside, the Gosei Great Zord Armor is intended to be used with ranger figures of the 4" variety. The one included in this set is a primarily all red Megaforce Red Ranger. This figure features some basic hip and shoulder articulation so it's just in between the figures that come with the Legendary Cycles and those release in the normal retail waves as far as posability goes. The Zord Armor itself actually winds up being pretty posable without the ranger inserted, but it can't quite pull off any big poses. The hips and shoulders move on Zord Builder joints and each elbow can be angled just slightly forward or back. The chest swings open and the helmet due to the nature of how it is removed also rotates almost entirely back.
Now of course being that this is a Zord Builder compatible figure, it can combine with the Legendary Megazord! Two official combos are shown, one on the box, one in the instructions. The box images would have you remove both arms from the Zord Armor as well as it's helmet and attach them where the arms and hat on the Legendary Megazord go. Because of how tall the shoulder from the Zord Armor are, you have no choice but to angle the Sky Ship halves on the shoulders up pretty high. It's actually a very tight fit to situate everything.
The second combo, the one featured in the instructions, would have you remove the arms and helmet from the Zord Armor as well. However, instead of using it's arms on the Legendary you take the entire body of the Zord Armor and peg it onto the right shoulder. You also need to clip the the legs together to ensure stability with that arm. Now as far the instructions of this combo are concerned, the other chainsaw like arm has nowhere to go. Of course with Zord Builder compatible toys you can place these extra parts whereever you like. You can also create some crazy custom monstrosities using other ZB compatible parts with just the Zord Armor.
One additional bit of play value to this set is that the left arm is basically a ranger key attached to an elbow. And since the arms is removable at the Zord Builder shoulder point it can be used like any other Ranger Key! You can use it to activate any other Ranger Key gimmicks, like the on in the Legendary Megazord or of the other Legendary Vehicles. It's even compatible with the Legendary Morpher.
As with all other currently released Legendary Zords, Vehicles, & Armors, no official name is given for any combination involving this figure.

I must buy one, then buy another to repaint and modify for pseudo-military purposes. My Joe customs demand it.

What sound does the arm key make in the Legendary Morpher?
