Let's start this gallery and review off with a negative - the packaging's primary color is red meaning it doesn't stand out any more or any less than its predecessor Power Rangers Super Megaforce as it too was primarily red. But immediately moving to the positive is the artwork on the box - it's simply stunning from all sides of the packaging (where artwork is present). The image of the Dino Charge Megazord on the back of the package is simply breath-taking. Bandai of America told us they were interested in moving away from "pictures of the toy on the box" at San Diego Comic Con 2014, and they kept to their promise and in grand fashion. Kudos, Bandai.
Right out of the box this figure just feels like it's from a different toyline than previous Power Rangers Megazords before it. While it doesn't feature any stunning feats of articulation (yay arms and legs!) it just FEELS different. It's hard to say, but comparing it to the Legendary Megazord makes you wonder how we can go from that hunk of plastic to this eye-appealing figure. Kudos to the engineers that were able to keep the look and feel of the Super Sentai counterpart so close to this USA adaption.
The T-Rex Zord is pretty simple, but actually features a little more transformation than most people may be used to. To top it off, the helmet for the Dino Charge Megazord is put ... well, there's no easy way of putting this in a way that isn't going to make some of you giggle like little kids - you put the helmet between the T-Rex Zord's legs and store it there. That's right - it's a crotch-helmet. Other than that questionable engineering choice, the T-Rex Zord is a winner.
It's Dino Charge feature is a little different. While the other Zords all have a slider button, you simply insert the Dino Charger in to the T-Rex Zord's mouth, close it, and the spikes on his head pop out. Neat. What's nice about this Zord is that the mouth can stay open - it doesn't auto-shut like the Japanese counterpart Gabutyra.
The Tricera Zord is pink! It's so pink. It's pinker than the S.H. Figuarts Kyoryu Pink figure that I took a picture with (see one of the pictures). This thing is, to quote a good friend of mine trekkieb47, "bubblegum pink". It's like Bandai of America heard you wanted pink, so they put pink on top of your pink for extra pink so you could have pink. Be careful what you wish for Ranger Nation!
The back of the Tricera Zord pops off which can then be held in its hand as a drill weapon for the Dino Charge Megazord. The drill feature can be activated (it pops out) by inserting a Dino Charger in to the mouth of the Tricera Zord. PLEASE NOTE! Everyone has been commenting that there's a "slider" on the bottom of each Zord to allow you to push the battery out. That is half true - the slider must be in position for some of the play features to be de-activated. I had to slide the slider forward (towards the mouth) in order to keep the drill from extending. The plastic tab that holds the spring-mounted drill from popping forward is very, very small. I expect many people to have "auto-drill" Tricera Zords in a few years when natural degradation of plastic occurs on that little tab.
It then connects as the left arm of the Dino Charge Megazord (it's left, not left as you look at it). You could in theory swap the arms but the way the toy is molded it wouldn't make any sense.
The Stego Zord is one of my favorites. He just has this "derp derp derp" look on his face that cracks me up every time I look at him. Inserting the Dino Charger in to his mouth will cause his spike on his back to pop up. This pops off altogether from his back to become the sword for the Dino Charge Megazord. Again - if the slider isn't in the right position, inserting the Dino Charger will not cause the spike to raise. You have to have the slider all the way towards the Zord's mouth so that the Dino Charger will push the slider back, causing the spike to go up.
To create the Dino Charge Megazord, simply rotate the T-Rex Zord's legs, pull off a few pieces here and there (yay Zord Builder!), then connect the auxiliary zords after opening their mouths to the point of craziness, and connect. There you go - you now are charged up with the Power Rangers Dino Charge Megazord! Who can forget about Zord Builder? The Dino Charge Megazord has a total of five ports (2 on the legs, 1 for each arm, and 1 on the shoulder). However, there's a catch - two of the Zord Builder ports in the regular Megazord mode require use of 2 of the ports, leaving only the legs and shoulder ports available. If you remove the arms, you can have four total ports available (2 legs, 2 arms, but lose the shoulder). So while it has five total ports, only four can be active at any given time and, to add simply to the Megazord feature, you only have 3.
There are plenty of clips all over this bad boy that aren't Zord Builder ports that will be, obviously, used for future Power Rangers Dino Charge releases.
So let's recap.
THE GOOD!
THE BAD
THE FINAL VERDICT
If you're a fan of Power Rangers, this is a must-buy for you. If you're an "on the fence" type of buyer, please keep in mind that these toys aren't created for you to strike awesome poses or have a mind-blowingly cool Transformer. This toy is meant to have other toys eventually connect to it to create the Dino Charge Clusterf*ck Megazord, much like with Power Rangers Samurai.
I bought it, and it's only my fourth Bandai of America Megazord purchase, and I don't have any regrets. I think this is the strongest release from Bandai of America, outside of the Legacy collection of toys, in recent memory easily.

Electronics or no?
Because if no, then that means that all the musical elements are gone and that's sad.

No electronics. I'll add that in.
