...that's Burning Godzilla, not "Showa" anything.
Topic fixed!

My bad...thanks

Oh man, that's going to be a popular one. One of the most popular looks for Godzilla, for sure, and in this line he should look great. I can only imagine he will have the Red Spiral Beam as an accessory.
Now we just need a Destoroyah to go with him.

Here...just take my money!!!

Now we'll all point and laugh.
Anyway, Burning Godzilla looks alright. The white spines on the tail look iffy but I love that he's more than a Moge-Goji redeco, because he shouldn't be. Godzilla puts on weight before he goes critical, and it's strangely nice to see those thunder-thighs present. The burning effect also looks good, probably clear plastic like the Comic-Con Explosion Godzilla but with skin painted over, or dare I dream, layers of clear and solid plastic.
The price makes it seem like there's more to this figure than what's pictured. Dare I dream he'll include some Destoroyah crab forms to reenact the scene where they climb on him...?
EDIT: That's actually the price after Japanese taxes. Burning Godzilla might come with a new beam, but then again you could get a red one from Fire Rodan too.

I guess we'll be having a Nuclear Winter a bit early huh ?

Love that he isn't a remold of the original because, as Baltan II pointed out, Godzilla gets really bulky before he melts down, so it's awesome that he's got his own unique mold.
Now, all we need is his foe...

I can't believe they went with a new sculpt for Burning Godzilla! It looks good!
Gojira says
It looks like the articulation and sculpt are VASTLY IMPROVED on this model.
Does this mean we might see a Ver 2.0 of the First Godzilla realease?
