under Radiant Black, San Diego Comic Con

The panel for the Massive-verse series of books from Image Comics had quite an eventful time at San Diego Comic Con 2023.  The final announcement from the panel was that Massive-verse and Solis Studios had partnered to create a fighting card game powered by the Pocket Paragon system.  The game features 8 playable characters – Radiant Black, 001, Rogue Sun, Cataclysm, The Dead Lucky, Pyre, Inferno Girl Red, and The Griffin.  Each character deck features art pulled directly from the comics with famed artist Dan Mora (Teenage Mutan Ninja Turtles x Power Rangers, Go Go Power Rangers) providing the character card art.

Stay tuned for the upcoming Kickstarter campaign to fund this card game!

under Radiant Black, San Diego Comic Con

At the Massive-verse panel on Friday at San Diego Comic Con 2023, writer Mathew Groom (Inferno Girl Red, Self/Made, Ultraman, Mighty Morphin) announced the next Kickstarter for the cult-favorite Inferno Girl Red series, with Book 2 being announced.

The exact date for the new Kickstarter hasn’t dropped yet, but fans can set up notifications for when the project goes live.

On Friday, the team behind the Massive-verse brand of comics (Radiant Black, Rogue Sun, Radiant Pink, The Dead Lucky, Inferno Girl Red) hosted a panel at San Diego Comic Con!  We attended the panel and have a recap to share!

Panelists included Kyle Higgins (Radiant Black, No/One), Melissa Flores (The Dead Lucky, Radiant Pink), Meghan Camarena (Radiant Pink), and Brian Buccellato (No/One).

under Power Rangers, San Diego Comic Con

Popular toy company ThreeZero pulled a fast one on San Diego Comic Con 2023 attendees by replacing one of their 1:6 scaled Mighty Morphin Power Rangers figures with a brand new figure unannounced.

Revealed on Saturday was their 1:6 scale Power Rangers Zeo Red Ranger figure.  No release information is available for this figure yet.  Stay tuned!

At San Diego Comic Con 2023, ThreeZero had product spread out at various distributors’ booths.  Over at the Diamond booth was none other than two brand new 1:6 scale figures for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers – the Armored Mighty Morphin Black Ranger and a Putty Patroler.

Hasbro has announced the date of this year’s Hasbro Pulsecon – and it’s September 22nd starting at 11am ET!

There will be exclusive product available for pre-order.  As always, Premium members of Hasbro Pulse get first rights and the leftovers remain for non-Premium members.  Power Rangers is advertised as a participating brand despite the lack of showing during this morning’s Hasbro Brand Preview Press Event.

This year’s San Diego Comic Con 2023 is in full swing and Hasbro has brought the Power Rangers Lightning Collection and the latest batch of upcoming releases to the show.  We did a quick visit yesterday and went back for some more up close and personal pictures.
