under Conventions, Kamen Rider

The Tamashii Nations Event 2023 is here and there are a load of brand new images of new and upcoming product for tokusatsu fans!  With special thanks to Dengeki Hobby we’re able to view all these beautiful new products.  Whether you’re a fan of regular S.H. Figuarts or the special Shinkocchou Seihou S.H. Figuarts, you’re likely to see something you enjoy.  Quick reminder – not every single item revealed may actually release!  Unless there’s included retail information on the product display card, the item is not guaranteed for release.

On display was a whole section dedicated to Kamen Rider 555 with two particular items of interest – S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Next Faiz and S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Next Kaixa, both from the upcoming Kamen Rider 555 20th Paradise Regained!  Check out images of both figures.  Note – S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Next Kaixa is listed as “DISPLAY ONLY” with no release information, but we feel confident that this figure will eventually see release.

At the preview event for Narikiri World 2023, fans will get to see the first look at the revealed Complete Series Gigantic (CSG) Musou Saber and Sonic Arrow from Kamen Rider Gaim.

There is currently no release information for these items.  It should be noted that Bandai loves to show off items at conventions that it then never releases.  Just ask your biggest collectors of S.H. Figuarts.  Stay tuned for more information for the Complete Series Gigantic Kamen Rider Gaim Musou Saber and Sonic Arrow.

The annual toy show is here!  Our team is at Toy Fair 2023 and meeting with different companies and showcasing all of the product for their brands and licensed brands.

Fan favorite ThreeZero is in attendance with their latest offering of Power Rangers product!  The upcoming (release TBD) Power Rangers Zeo Red Ranger (Zeo Ranger V) is on hand as well as the upcoming Mighty Morphin Putty Patrol figure.  The other Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 1:6 scale figures are seeing a re-release in 2024 and are also on display.

Hasbro Pulsecon is happening right now and the Power Rangers brand panel just wrapped!  Coverage focused on the Omega Rangers and Master Morpher exclusives, plus the upcoming season of the show.

Shown today were the Omega Rangers 4 pack for the Power Rangers Lightning Collection, as well as the Lightning Collection Master Morpher!  Neither one of these items were surprising, seeing as they’ve already been released around the world, but it was nice to see them officially revealed and know that they’re available starting at 4pm ET today for Pulse Premium members at HasbroPulse.com. Fans of Ultraman Blazar should find their way up north to Toronto, Canada for Fan Expo Canada this August 24th thru 27th.  Tsuburaya Productions announced today that Ultraman Blazar will be featured at Fan Expo Canada with panels and special guests (to be announced).  The panels are put on by the official Ultraman International Fan Hub, Ultraman Connection, and will be held at 1pm on Friday, August 25th and 1pm on Saturday, August 26th.  To get in to the panel you only need your Fan Expo Canada ticket but attendance is limited.

Bandai is also bringing Ultraman Blazar to Fan Expo Canada!  This is your chance to have your picture taken with the suit from the show.  Fans can have their pictures taken at the Bandai booth and other Ultraman licensee booths throughout the show.  More details will be revealed throughout the week.

under Radiant Black, San Diego Comic Con

The panel for the Massive-verse series of books from Image Comics had quite an eventful time at San Diego Comic Con 2023.  The final announcement from the panel was that Massive-verse and Solis Studios had partnered to create a fighting card game powered by the Pocket Paragon system.  The game features 8 playable characters – Radiant Black, 001, Rogue Sun, Cataclysm, The Dead Lucky, Pyre, Inferno Girl Red, and The Griffin.  Each character deck features art pulled directly from the comics with famed artist Dan Mora (Teenage Mutan Ninja Turtles x Power Rangers, Go Go Power Rangers) providing the character card art.

Stay tuned for the upcoming Kickstarter campaign to fund this card game!

under Radiant Black, San Diego Comic Con

At the Massive-verse panel on Friday at San Diego Comic Con 2023, writer Mathew Groom (Inferno Girl Red, Self/Made, Ultraman, Mighty Morphin) announced the next Kickstarter for the cult-favorite Inferno Girl Red series, with Book 2 being announced.

The exact date for the new Kickstarter hasn’t dropped yet, but fans can set up notifications for when the project goes live.

On Friday, the team behind the Massive-verse brand of comics (Radiant Black, Rogue Sun, Radiant Pink, The Dead Lucky, Inferno Girl Red) hosted a panel at San Diego Comic Con!  We attended the panel and have a recap to share!
