The Lightning Collection Mighty Morphin X Cobra Kai Johnny Lawrence Morphed Black Boar Ranger will be released July 1st, 2023, retailing for $27.99 you can pre-order this figure direct from Hasbro Pulse by following the link here or from Target
The Power Rangers HyperForce are making their return in comic book form via BOOM! Studios with Melissa Flores (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Radiant Pink, The Dead Lucky) and Meghan Camarena (Radiant Pink) helming the writing duties. The artist on board is Federico Sabbatini (Moon Knight, The Dead Lucky).
The Power Rangers HyperForce return and scour the multiverse in search of allies after Mistress Vile (formerly Rita Repulsa) and Dark Specter invade the Morphin Grid. The HyperForce Rangers will be pushed to their limits.
The comic is scheduled to release July 19th, 2023.
Power Rangers HyperForce was a live-show tabletop RPG that aired on Twitch.tv and officially sanctioned by Saban Brands. It starred fan-favorite Power Rangers actors Peter Sudarso (Red Ranger), Paul Schrier (Yellow Ranger), and Yoshi Sudarso (Silver and Green Rangers), reality star Meghan Camarena (Pink Ranger), voice actress Christina Vee (Black Ranger), and YouTube personality Andre Meadows (Blue Ranger). It aired weekly and fans had a chance to interact via Twitch to give the Rangers extra powers and abilities. It guest-starred numerous fan-favorite actors and personalities like Jason David Frank, Erin Cahill, Kyle Higgins, Melissa Flores, Jason Bischoff, Mike Ginn, and more.

As a quick editorial note – very disappointed that the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger does not come with his arm bands or shield – you have to buy the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger to get those items to complete the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger. This looks to be 100% a marketing ploy as the sculpt/figure have long passed any type of exclusivity window for a retailer.

Arguably the most anticipated special of all time for the Power Rangers brand will release tomorrow, April 19th 2023, for the entire world with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always, a special near-hour-long 30th anniversary celebration of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. With special thanks to eOne, Hasbro, and Netflix, we were granted an opportunity to review the special early to provide our fellow fans with our thoughts and overall review. The following is our non-spoiler review where we will talk about certain parts but without spoiling any specific details or story elements.
Obviously the best way to enjoy Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always is to go in 100% blind, so please only continue if you don’t mind having the most basic of elements (ie: “was this good/bad, etc.”) notated.
Hasbro sent over a new sneak peak of the upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always special. This clip features Walter Jones (Zack) and Steve Cardenas (Rocky) returning to the classic Juice Center in Angel Grove to lay down the law against some unruly putties.

The Hasbro PR teams just sent through an update on packaging changes for multiple collector level brands, including Power Rangers Lightning Collection. Window packaging using more sustainable plastics will be returning to the line starting in late 2023. What do you guys think, let us know on the forums and social!
We wanted to share an update on packaging for Hasbro’s 6-inch-scale figures. Based on your feedback, we will be re-introducing windows and blisters to our 6-inch fan figures beginning later this year, into 2024 for select products across our portfolio of brands, including, G.I. Joe Classified, Power Rangers Lightning Collection, Star Wars Black Series and Marvel Legends. This will eventually expand to all new 6-inch figure releases.
The new windows and blisters will be made from bio PET or recycled PET helping us achieve our priority of meeting our fans’ expectations for extraordinary packaging and superior design while still developing packaging that minimizes waste and the use of virgin plastic.

Today, BOOM! Studios – the publisher of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic book – announced a brand new series written by former and original Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger herself – Amy Jo Johnson and her partner, Director Matt Hotson. The series is scheduled to release later this year as part of the Power Rangers 30 celebration.
While Amy Jo Johnson states it was hard to keep this project a secret, she also stated on her panel at Emerald City Comic Con in December of 2021 that her and Matt Hotson had pitched a story idea to BOOM! Studios for a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic series. She shared brief story details – essentially that it would follow the current day events of our favorite heroes some 30 years later – at the time of her original announcement.
Amy Jo Johnson also states this is her contribution to the 30th anniversary of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and is one of many reasons she overlooked returning to the show for the upcoming reunion special.
