That right citizens of Tokunation.com, your favorite weekly segment is back! Let’s Watch Wednesdays is kicking off again today with Juken Sentai Gekiranger! After polling the community this was the show demanded most! So let’s get things started shall we?
This time around we’re going to be watching 3 episodes at a time, and just one show this time. That way you can still enjoy your weekly Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger and Kamen Rider Wizard as well! This week we’re watching episodes 1-3 of Gekiranger. So pull up your favorite fan sub groups and chime in with your thoughts on this series as we go along with our weekly discussion thread.

With the recent announcement of the second season of the cult hit Akibaranger, a self-parody of Super Sentai, and the 37th Super Sentai known as Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger only a couple of weeks away from its premiere, we’ve decided to open up our two new discussion forums dedicated to each series.

As you know, we started a tradition last year with our Let’s Watch Wednesdays segment, where every week on Wednesdays we’d discuss two, sometimes three previous Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and/or Power Rangers series in segments of episodes. This has proven to be a big hit, as it seems every site now has it’s own Let’s Watch segment!
This time we want YOU to decide what the site should watch for the month of February! Aside from the premiere of Kyoryuger and the on-going Kamen Rider Wizard, there’s a plethora of old series from Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and 20 years worth of Power Rangers to pick from.
Click “Discuss” and nominate the series that YOU want to watch! Once we’ve gathered enough nominations, we’ll open it up to polling … and once that’s said and done, you will have decided our next Let’s Watch Wednesday show. We’re only doing one show this time (because I think the whole tokusatsu community is itching for Kyoryuger), so think long, hard, and then nominate the series you want to watch!
