The latest entries in the fan-favorite Super Minipla collector series have been revealed in full!

First up is the main Mecha from 1991’s Super Sentai series Chojin Sentai Jetman! The Celestial Fusion Jet Icarus is recreated in exquisite detail- with all five Jet Machines able to combine into either Jet Icarus or the attack craft Icarus Hawken. All of Jet Icarus’ weapons will be included with this release- the Birdonic Sabre, Wing Shield, Icarus Axe, Icarus Crusher, & Icarus Magna!

Not to be outdone, the second Jetman Mecha will also be included in Super Minipla. This is our first look at the Minipla Jet Garuda! The powerful craft is able to switch from Bird Garuda airship mode to Jet Garuda Robot Mode. In addition, the Garuda can combine with Jet Icarus in two forms- first in vehicle mode to create the Hyper Hawken or in Robot Mode to create the Great Icarus!

While price & release dates have not been confirmed at time of writing, it appears that the Jet Icarus is a standard retail release while Jet Garuda is a Premium Bandai item.

The next entry in the highly popular Super Sentai Minipla series has finally been confirmed!

This time, the Minipla makers will actually take a few steps BACKWARDS in Sentai chronology- to 1991’s Chojin Sentai Jetman! The fan-favorite avian Sentai soars once again, with a release of the main Mecha Jet Icarus! At the moment it has not been stated if Jet Icarus will be the ONLY Jetman Minipla released, but based on previous entries in this series other Jetman Mecha seem very likely.

Sadly, no price or release details have been revealed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on all Super Minipla reveals!

After a brief teaser last month, Shout! Factory has officially announced their next Super Sentai complete series release as none other than Chojin Sentai Jetman!

This is the first Super Sentai series to be released by Shout! Factory that predates the Power Rangers franchise- and if successful could lead to similar early Sentai releases.

All 51 episodes of Chojin Sentai Jetman will be released on September 25 2018! The price is a very modest $47.97 USD.

The good people at MMPRToys have revealed some surprising details about upcoming Super Sentai DVD releases from Shout! Factory.

In a startling break with the current pattern, Shout!’s next release will be Chojin Sentai Jetman! This will be the first series PREDATING all Power Rangers adaptations, a move many fans did not expect. Jetman is tentatively scheduled for a September 2018 release!

And not losing pace at all, Shout! Factory will resume the previous pattern of Super Sentai boxsets with their next release- Hyakuju Sentai GaoRanger! Adapted in 2002 to make Power Rangers Wild Force, this set is planned for a December 2018 release!

Definitely some fantastic news for Super Sentai Shout! fans! Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on these exciting new releases!

As fans go forward with collecting, there is a progressive amount of stuff found to collect. Perhaps you wanted to go beyond mass produced toys, and wanted to buy prototypes? Luckily for us, in this day and age, prototypes/testshots and what have you, are usually readily available for auction on the internet. While some may refrain from buying these, these auctions at least give us images of toys before production. Sometimes these toys change by final production, sometimes they just aren’t produced at all due to cancellation. With that said, sometimes online auctions are our only glimpses at “what could have been”.
