While we have seen Power Rangers Build & Morph sets for the samurai emblems/rangers from Power Rangers Samurai, the new listing is for none other than a Power Rangers Build & Morph Gosei Great Megazord! The diligent minds at Linear Ranger’s Toy Grid inform us that the first wave of Power Rangers Megaforce toys are hitting shelves- just in time for the holiday shopping season! :D

This initial wave (found at a ToysRUs in Virginia) contains the Gosei Great Megazord, Brother Vehicles, Robo Morpher and Ranger Blaster! Each release also comes with add-on cards for the much-touted Megaforce trading card game.

ICv2 recently published an interview with Bandai marketing manager Danny Satyapan, who revealed the company’s plans for a Power Rangers Trading Card Game to coincide with the release of Power Rangers Megaforce.

When asked about the game, which is due for release in February, Mr Satyapan had this to say:

The theme of Power Rangers in 2013 is called Megaforce and it’s the first time in the history of the Power Rangers franchise that the theme is about cards. Basically the Power Rangers use all of their cards, insert them into their morphers and through magic and other sorts of things, it makes them morph into different things, activates their Mega Zords and vehicles, all sorts of things.

We’re going to be creating a Power Rangers Trading Card Game that plays off of that. It’s probably the most support we’ve offered behind a CCG ever for Bandai, because it’s basically our flagship brand for the company.

Fans of Megaforce’s Super Sentai equivalent Tensou Sentai Goseiger will know that it also had a similar tie in game – the arcade/collectible card game Super Sentai Battle: Dice-O.

At the 2012 Licensing Expo, Saban featured merchandises of Power Rangers Megaforce by Mega Bloks.
