The complete selection of “Power Rangers Super Samurai” has joined the Ranger lineup on Netflix.
This INCLUDES the as-yet-unaired final episode of the series, “Samurai Forever!”

Surprise surprise! When Saban announced that a combination of Goseiger and Gokaiger footage would be used for the 20th anniversary series Power Rangers Megaforce I don’t think anyone expected this. However thanks to Fury Diamonds’ Megaforce Cast site, and a tip from Tokuantion user GrimZata, we can confirm that the Goseiger ranger suits will be used for BOTH season of Power Rangers Megaforce. Gokaiger mecha will be used in the second season but it appears Saban has pulled a Dairanger on us and skipped the Gokaiger suits altogther.

Thanks to our friends at Megaforce Cast we have a video to share that features the appearance of the Power Rangers Megaforce as well as the previous Red Rangers.
Notably absent (at least from my eyes) is the Mighty Morphin White Ranger. Notably present was Power Rangers Super Samurai Female Red Ranger. I only bring that up as it was advertised in the press release:

A couple of years ago we got our first taste of Power Rangers Samurai thanks in part to their appearance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Well, hold on to your morphers Power Rangers fans, because we’re getting our first look at Power Rangers Megaforce during this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!

At the end of the exciting week of festivities, fans will see the all-new Power Rangers Megaforce Rangers for the first time on television during a special performance as part of the 2012 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, airing on NBC on Thursday, November 22 from 9am-noon. Power Rangers Megaforce will kick-off the franchise’s 20th anniversary on television with new episodes premiering in early 2013 on Nickelodeon. If you’ve been following Power Rangers Super Samurai then you’ve undoubtedly seen last week’s episode, “Fight Fire With Fire”, which featured a shocking new character – Lauren Shiba, the new Red Samurai Ranger! In the coming weeks we will see if this new Ranger has indeed mastered the sealing power in order to stop Master Xandred once and for all!

Does anyone remember when Saban Brands filed a trademark use for the term Power Rider, and rampant speculation began that Saban was going to adapt a Kamen Rider series in the United States?
Well, in short, nothing ever came of it.
The rumor mills thought that because of the crossover footage in Shinkenger (Power Rangers Samurai) with Kamen Rider Decade that Saban was planning to use that footage and then spin-off the appearance with Kamen Rider Decade as Power Rider.
Again, nothing ever came of it.
Thanks to our friends at Firestarter’s Blog we know that Saban Brands has once again filed for, and was granted, the use of the name Power Rider.
Will anything come of it this time?
A popular thought here at TokuNation was that Saban would adapt over the Kamen Rider Fourze series. While unpopular with adults, the series was popular with the younger demographic and the amount of sales generated from the roleplay gear, etc., more than proves that the merchandise sold very well. Take in to effect that the setting is high school with teenagers, and the overall easy-to-tie-in merchandise, it still seems like a no-brainer.
Speculate away, Tokusatsu fans!

We wanted to drop you a line and let you know that today’s episode of Power Rangers Super Samurai titled “Fight Fire With Fire” is brand new, and after nearly two seasons worth of teasing, Jayden’s big secret is finally going to be revealed at the end of the episode!
Fans of the Super Sentai version known as Shinkenger already know what this secret is, so please don’t spoil it for our viewers who haven’t seen it or let themselves be spoiled by it.

The first week of filming for Power Rangers Megaforce has just finished and Samuraicast have kindly collated all the news that has come from it. As well as cast images, it includes some info about what we can possibly expect from the latest Power Rangers series!
First up comes the news of a high-school setting being the primary location for Megaforce. Mr Yellow of RangerCrew tweeted an image of the school set to be used, which is Mount Albert Grammar School in New Zealand.
Secondly, Ciara Hanna (Yellow Megaforce ranger) tweeted that she met a special guest on set. Could veteran rangers be appearing early in the series before the switch to Super Megaforce?
Finally, Namihei Koshige, a veteran Power Rangers stunt actor, had this to say about one of the scripts for Megaforce:
In the previous season, “Samurai”, the story was pretty much the same as it was in the Japanese version, so they used a lot of places that looked like Japan. Even a few of the action scenes were taken from them. Regardless though, I went to First Unit today. Went to the Kanji consultant and the action director to go over what we had to do. I didn’t really get a chance to perform at all. “I wonder if today’ll be more of the same”… is what I thought.But then I peeked at the script. Although it had a picture of “Goseiger”, it was mostly a fairly original story with lots to do!! So it’s been non-stop action everyday…
