Welcome to another round of Let’s Watch Wednesdays at Tokunation.com! This week we discuss the following:

Both Episode FINAL and 13 Riders feature dramatically different takes on the Kamen Rider Ryuki storyline, with Episode FINAL taking place towards the end of the series(taking the place of the last few episodes), and 13 Riders featuring an ending that viewers had to vote for at the time of airing(amongst other differences).

In addition, a few new Riders are introduced such as Kamen Rider Femme, the only female rider in the Ryuki-verse, and Kamen Rider Verde! Does Asano Megumi have competition in the beauty department with Kirishima Miho? What connection does Asakura have with Miho?

Throughout the Kamen Rider Ryuki TV series we never saw Shinji really give into his dark side, yet we find the epitome of that in the form of Kamen Rider Ryuga from Episode FINAL! The reliable sources over at Rangercrew have revealed a partial cast list for the forthcoming Power Rangers Megaforce series. The list includes casting for the red, yellow, blue and pink rangers, however the latter two are still awaiting an official announcement.

So without further ado…the casting for Power Rangers Megaforce is!

Red Ranger – Andrew Gray
Yellow Ranger – Ciara Hanna
Pink Ranger – Christina Masterson
Blue Ranger – John Mark Loudermilk

The information also includes final candidates for the Black and Silver Rangers. Names for the Black Ranger include Trevor Christianson and Peter Adrian, while the Silver Ranger final candidate is Eric Anwar.

Bear in mind that nothing is fully confirmed at this stage, however check the images of the potential cast and character breakdowns for the next Power Rangers series after the jump!

Attention all Power Rangers fans! One of the most beloved series in the 20 years of Power Rangers is getting its own upcoming marathon on Nicktoons! Our own member Eric caught the advertisement for an upcoming Mega Morphenomonon on Nicktoons featuring none other than Power Rangers Time Force!

Power Rangers Time Force features a group of Power Rangers who come from the year 3000 A.D. to bring back the evil mutant Ransik who has escaped from prison in the future. But before the Power Rangers can morph to stop him, they have to find their own Red Ranger’s ancestor to unlock their morphers. This beloved series features some of the most beloved heroes to take on a morpher (Wes, Jen, and the individual who becomes the Quantum Ranger) as well as arguably one of the best villains ever in Ransik.

The exact date and time for the Mega Morphenomonon unfortunately wasn’t caught (the curse of catching advertisements in mid-air) but as soon as we get the details we will pass it along to you!

In a recent interview with GeekCast Radio, veteran Power Ranger actor Jason David Frank has dropped hints that he may return for the franchise’s 20th anniversary.

During the interview JDF, who played Tommy Oliver on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers through to Turbo and then returned for Dino Thunder, said the following;

“Probably, because that’s probably what Saban’s talking with my agent about tomorrow. I don’t really have any clue what they’re talking about, but they did mention some 20 year anniversary thing.” “If Saban ever wanted me to do something, I would do it. I just want everyone to know that if you hear any rumors about Jason Frank not doing the 20 year anniversary for any other reason, I will tell everybody right now that I do things for fun. I would do it for all of my fans and I would do it for a dollar. If it doesn’t happen, it has nothing to do with me, it has nothing to do with money, it has to do with Saban. If the fans wanted to see me, it has nothing to do with money. It has to do with doing stuff for you guys.”

Megaforce will have two seasons-

*Goseiger will be used for the first season and

*Gokaiger will be used for Season 2 under the new name Super Megaforce

*Shout! has no control or authority to release Super Sentai on DVD

*We will see a female Red Ranger in the future no surprise to Shinkenger fans :P
