Premium Bandai has published the first official images of the next Shodo SUPER release featuring the 1988 Super Sentai team Choujuu Sentai Liveman!

All five members of this Sentai- Red Falcon, Yellow Lion, Blue Dolphin, Black Bison & Green Sai have been recreated at the Shodo scale in superb detail. This release also includes the team weapons- the Triple Bazooka and the massive Biomotion Buster.

Shodo SUPER’s Liveman release is currently scheduled for December 2022. The price is a modest 8800 Yen before shipping & handling.

CHOU HENSHIN!! 

In case you missed it, Bandai announced a new complementary line to tie into the premium Complete Selection Modification line of roleplay toys, and they’ve just revealed the first product of this line with the Complete Style Gigantic Titan Sword wielded by Kamen Rider Kuuga in his Titan Form.

No other release info was given at the time of this posting, though pre-orders will be live June 28th 2022 so we’ll be sure to provide you with more info as it becomes available.

Cover to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 100

The Power Rangers comics from BOOM! Studios are about to get a facelift.  On Thursday, Ryan Parrott (writer on “Power Rangers“) announced that he would be leaving the brand at the onset of Issue 100 of the Power Rangers comic.  This morning, Mat Groom – whom just took over writing duties of the “Mighty Morphin” comic from Ryan Parrott – announced that he, too, was leaving the Power Rangers comics with Issue 22 of Mighty Morphin.

The future of the Power Rangers comics going forward is currently uncertain but sources tell us all is well at BOOM! Studios with the Power Rangers comics and that the future creative team will be announced at a later date.

Complete Style Gigantic

A new spin-off brand of the Complete Selection Modification (CSM) toy line has been soft-announced.  Introducing Complete Style Gigantic (CSG).  There is no information beyond the graphic teaser at this time but the graphic itself states more details to come in Japan on June 16th (or June 15th in North and South America).

There is a lot of speculation on what could come out with this line but it will likely include iconic items and/or weapons of your favorite Kamen Riders but in a close to 1:1 scale versus the smaller sized DX items released in the main toy lines.

We’ll follow up with more information as it is available.

Premium Bandai has announced a new add-on for the Memorial Edition Gokai Cellular toy based on the recent Twokaiser X Gokaiger special!

This new item is known as the Gokai Tsuiker and functions as an extension of the Cellular unit, revealing all Sixth Rangers introduced in Super Sentai since the end of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. Several new sounds and effects will be unlocked.

Six more Ranger Keys are included with the Tsuiker unit-

*Zyuoh TheWorld from Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger
*HoOh Soldier from Uchu Sentai KyuRanger
*Lupin X & Patren X from Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger

The Gokai Tsuiker Unit is scheduled for release in January 2023! Price is a modest 11000 Yen.

In a shocking twist that no one saw coming, an unannounced Power Rangers Lightning Collection figure has been discovered.  Malaysian retailer MyToy shared on their Facebook page their latest acquisition of brand new Power Rangers Lightning Collection Metallic Mighty Morphin White Ranger, the final addition to the Metallic collection.

This Tommy comes with a brand new head sculpt and the fully formed Zeo Crystal.  Unlike the other Mighty Morphin Power Rangers figures to receive the Metallic treatment, there does NOT appear to be a new helmet sculpt.

When will this figure be released?  When will this figure be announced?  Roll the dice because no one truly knows.

Toei has officially published the trademark for the next Kamen Rider series!

The fourth Rider of the Reiwa Era will be known as Kamen Rider Geats. Sadly, no other information about this upcoming Rider has been confirmed at time of writing.

At last we have our first look at the sixth member of the Avataro Sentai DonBrothers!

This new hero is a golden warrior known as Don Dragoku! Dragoku’s special powers also grant him access to a silver armored form known as Don Torabolt.

Don Dragoku will transform using the Ryuko Nogeki– a naginana spear enhanced by Avataro Gear powers. The Don Torabolt form has a unique accessory called the TiGuarDra that can store multiple Gears.

Finally, Don Dragoku possesses an ALTER form- resembling a green dragon. In this new form Dragoku can channel the powers of past Super Sentai– demonstrated with the aid of Shuriken Sentai Ninninger Alter!
