Kamen Rider Drive DX Tridoron Gallery & Video Review!

Posted on November 5, 2014 at 3:04 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Start your engine!

Baltmatrix and I have teamed up once again to deliver a 1-2 punch of toku reviews! This time we’re taking a look at the DX Tridoron from Kamen Rider Drive!

To start we’ve assembled a full 50+ image gallery of DX Tridoron for your viewing after the jump. This excellent vehicle is big, functional, and did we mention BIG? As one of the larger DX rider vehicles ever made it will make your collection of rider bikes feel inadequate. Tridoron also has the ability to transform into it’s 3 basic Types like Drive; Speed, Wild, & Technique. That in addition to it’s Tire Koukan compatibility, it’s functionality with shift cars, and the fact that it can accommodate 6″ figures in it’s cockpit all make the DX  Tridoron worth a purchase in my book. And don’t forget the included Midnight Shadow Shift Car & Tire as well as the pre-order bonus Max Flare Full Throttle Version Shift Car!

And now take a look below for a full video review of this wonderful toy by my good friend Baltmatrix! On loan from my personal collection to Balt, I hope you enjoy his in depth look at DX Tridoron! This video review will showcase the transformations of Tridoron in practice as well as the way the in which it’s electronic gimmicks function & it’s compatibility with Tire Koukan tires & figures!

We’ll be back in the near future with yet more tag team gallery/video reviews from your favorite toku heroes old & new! But for now, All you need is Drive!

Tire Koukan TK-02 Tire Set Gallery & Video Review

Posted on November 3, 2014 at 10:53 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Tire Koukan!

Before the upcoming Kamen Rider Drive products for November are released we’ve got a pair of galleries and video reviews of current releases for you! Today we take a look at at the second release in Drive’s gimmick line, Tire Koukan, with the TK-02 Tire Set!

An accessory set for TK-01 Drive, TK-02 features three of Kamen Rider Drive’s recently used Tires. Funky Spike, Justice Hunter, & Massive Monster! A great addition to the line each of these new tires adds a little something extra to the basic Drive figure. And if you also have the recently released DX Tridoron you get a bit more play value from each as well thanks to it’s incorporation of the gimmick.

Before you check out my image gallery, look bellow to watch my good friend Baltmatrix’s video review of this set! He and I will be back in a couple days with a DX Tridoron review and gallery as well!

Check out 40 images of this accessory set after the jump by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation” forums at the bottom of this post.

Tire Koukan TK-06 Machine Chaser Revealed

Posted on October 25, 2014 at 11:58 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Though this fledgling line is still in it’s early stages we’ve just gotten our a peak at the first (and currently only) villain in the line. Tire Koukan TK-06 will be none other than Machine Chaser!

Machine Chaser looks to have much of the fantastic asymmetrical detailing of his on screen counterpart and  includes his henshin device the Break Gunner. It’s currently unknown if this figure can actually use the Tire Koukan gimmick and accept tires for weapons. Either way, TK-06 Machine Chaser will be released in December for 3456 yen.

TK-01 Tire Koukan Kamen Rider Drive Gallery

Posted on October 8, 2014 at 1:31 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Kamen Rider Drive’s first episode has finally aired and the first waves of the toy line have made their way into sp,e collector’s hands. Specifically mine! so today we’re taking a look at the very first figure in Drive’s Tire Koukan gimmick line! TK-01 Kamen Rider Drive (Type Speed) is the first in what appears to be a pretty long line of new gimmick figures. Having already revealed up to 8 regular releases and at least one SP release, Tire Koukan should have the same kind of awesome staying power that Arms Change did.

Following up from last years fantastically well received Arms Change line, Tire Koukan has a similar gimmick, literally swapping various themed tires onto Drive and other compatible figures by splitting the figure diagonally in half! This unique gimmick carries itself well to toy form and much like AC’s this new line of TK figures does not disappoint. Drive includes his standard Speed Tire & the Max Flare Tire for additional play. Though this figure is lite on the accessories it’s got plenty of playability and will be right at home with the rest of your riders!

Click “discuss on the TokuNation forums” at the bottom of this post to check out our full review of this figure as well as over 70 images! I’ve been personally sold on Kamen Rider Drive the show, and now the toy line. So expect more Drive galleries in the near future! Start your engine!

Kamen Rider Drive Tire Koukan Figure Previewed

Posted on September 22, 2014 at 5:37 pm by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

Much like they did with the fan favrioute Arms Change series last year, the latest issue of Figuroh has previews on just how this year’s gimmick based action figure will work. Kamen Rider Drives Tire Koukan.

The gimmick figure looks similar to the OOO Combo Change figures where the figure itself splits apart into sections to allow the tires to be swapped out. Right off the bat, TK01 Drive Type Speed also includes his Flare Wheel for an alternate.

TK01 Kamen Rider Drive is scheduled to come out next month, retailing for 3456 yen.
