Oh Hell Yes. Oh Hell Damn It Yes. That Monkey is Beautiful! Give me that now, give me that right the hell now.
ShockerCon says
It just hit me: this could very well be the first MonsterArt release without some crazy energy effect.
Kiryu says
The sculpted hair on this thing looks fantastic!
It almost looks real enough to pass off as actual fur.
Matrixbeast says
I'm not a King Kong fan in the slightest. I dislike the monkey so much that Godzilla Vs. King Kong is probably the only Godzilla film I've never seen.
That said, this thing looks great. I'm glad they took the more realistic approach in using Peter Jackson's version instead of the classic look, which was embarrassingly bad, imo.
PkmnMstr says
Wait, so instead of having moving parts in the head we're just getting multiple sculpts? I might be buying this after all.
justice116 says
I think I will pass on this. Its a great looking figure but all king kong looks like to me is just a gorilla which I know that is what he is but there is nothing that is distinguishing this as an actual character and not just a highly articulated zoo animal figure.
Matrixbeast says
And you can pose him battling Godzilla, too.
Anyway, I'm not picking him up (*Crosses fingers for SH Monster Arts Mechagodzilla 1 or 3/Kiryu*), but he does look nice.
Electric Turahk says
Given he has three heads, I actually wouldn't be surprised if he didn't come with any other accessories.
bluesparrow says
He's also cheaper than most normal-sized SHM too. They're usually around 6500 yen, this is 5775.
