[UPDATE] Kyoryuger – KyoryuGold Mecha PteraidenOh Revealed and More!

Posted on February 6, 2013 at 12:57 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai

Thanks to the continued internet detective work of staff member KamenRiderOOO we’ve found our first Image of the Kyoryugers second mecha! The personal mecha of the 6th Kyoryuger, Kyoryu Gold, the PteraidenOh has been revealed!

PteraidenOh is a single massive Pteranodon that transforms into a stand alone robo. It also has a combination gimmick with Kyoryujin where it becomes a massive jetpack power up, forming RaidenKyoryujin. Very similar to the combination that Abarangers’ AbarenOh and KillerOh share.

PteraidenOh is also able to combine with Parasugun and Zakutor, forming Pteraidenoh Western.

Secondly, the main Kyoryuger team will gain a new ally in the form of Bunpachy, the grey pachycephalosaurus. He forms a new arm for Kyoryujin, and alongside Gabutrya and Ankydon forms Kyoryujin Kungfu.

Jason David Frank Speaks About Power Rangers Megaforce

Posted on February 6, 2013 at 12:04 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

It’s not that it’s a slow news day. But when the most famous, and arguably most popular Power Ranger of all time decides to post regarding Power Rangers Megaforce, we figure a lot of you would be interested in what he’s saying.

Jason David Frank, or Tommy from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo, Power Rangers Turbo, Power Rangers Dino Thunder, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, had the following to say in regards to the latest season of Power Rangers – Power Rangers Megaforce:

The Funny thing is in Mega Force it was shot in the same School where i filmed Dino Thunder haha. In NZ limited places to film.. So people are asking me about Mega Force. Its in Sabans hands again thats why you see so many Simalar refreences to MMPR. Its what launched the Brand.Like i said before saban is trying to get back to what was Lost. They called me before but i have No clue or if I’m even free. But if they asked i would try my best to do a few eps.. Dealing with hollywood is not easy. Its like when they say jump you are supposed to say How High? Im done Jumping for people lol. Also I am sure the new actors will talk though the old rangers once there transformed. I hope i answered some questions for people. They said if they brought anyone back it would be me. But then again depended on script and Timing. I would do something for the hard core Fans. If i owned the show i would let Fans Drive a sieres they all could love and help Build haha. But after all Hiam has Billions of dollars already so I’m sure he will do what HE wants. That what Billionairs Do. Im so Glad to have deep seeded roots :)…… Thank you for being a Fan..No one can beat my dragon word hahahaha YEAAAAA!!!!
JDF

The statement came from the Official Jason David Frank Fan Page on Facebook.

Check out videos of the Guinness World Record breaking former Green-White-Red-Black-? Ranger playing with some of the new Power Rangers Megaforce toys. Some have pointed out that there is quite a bit of White Ranger merchandise coming from Bandai Of America. Hmmm….

Toys’R’Us Exclusive Legacy Power Morpher Update

Posted on February 5, 2013 at 12:22 am by Chris under Power Rangers

Hey Power Rangers fans! We have a couple of updates for those of you looking for the Toys’R’Us exclusive Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Power Morpher toy.

Thanks to TokuNation.com member raz we have some solid information on just exactly how many Legacy Power Morphers are out there right now and what areas can expect to see them next.

raz took the time to call a number of Toys’R’Us stores across the country and got some pretty solid details on exactly what distribution centers have stock and an estimate of exactly what amounts. They are as follows:

All distribution centers on the east coast (Philadelphia, North Carolina, New York, Maryland, Chicago, etc.) are showing ZERO Legacy Power Morphers on hand, meaning their shipments have yet to arrive. That area is probably still a week out from getting anything in stores, as the item has to arrive at the distribution center first.

The distribution center in Dallas has 292 Legacy Power Morphers in the warehouse. The Colorado distribution center has over 200 Legacy Power Morphers ready to go. The distrubtion center in California, which services all 12 Toys’R’Us stores, has 256 Legacy Power Morphers to split between those stores, though history has shown us Transformers collectors that they are never distributed equally. So basically, if you’re in the Missouri area to the west coast, you should find Legacy Power Morphers in your Toys’R’Us stores THIS WEEK – truck days usually fall on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Here’s also a review from YouTube user BNGamesReviews for those of you still on the fence.

If you manage to find the elusive and exclusive Toys’R’Us Legacy Power Morpher, don’t forget to post where you found it in our Tokusatsu Toy Sightings forum! Your fellow tokusatsu fans will appreciate it.

The Legacy Power Morpher runs at $49.99. Good hunting!!

Go-Busters V-Cinema – New Info

Posted on February 4, 2013 at 10:41 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai

Thanks to a post on his blog, Katsuhiro Suzuki AKA Hiromu/Red Buster, has revealed the title of the Go-Busters V-Cinema; Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters Vs. Dobutsu Sentai Go-Busters! Dobutsu translates to animal in english, so could this mean the Go-Busters will be facing an evil animal themed version of themselves? Perhaps the Buddyroids decide to form their own sentai?

Our questions will be answered when this V-Cinema has it’s rental release on June 14th and it’s mass retail release on June 21st! The price for the complete edition of the film will be 6300 yen and it will include the main film itself as well as behind the scenes features and videos on the film and series. The standard edition will cost 4725 yen. It’s also rumored that Phantom Thief Pink Buster may be making a reappearance in this film.
