It’s that time again folks! Kamen Rider Blade has ended and we’re sad to see it go, but now it’s time for us to pick up a new show for Let’s Watch Wednesdays!
As always Let’s Watch Wednesdays is intended to get the community together to check out some older tokusatsu they may not have seen before. We ask that each user make only 1 nomination. The 10 nominations with the most users behind them will be featured in a poll to decide the actual series for the segment next week. This nomination thread will be open from today January 15th through Sunday January 19th at 12 Midnight EST. So get your choices in before then.
There are a few other stipulations for nominating any new shows for LWW such as those series which are ineligible. So click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to check them out and get started! We look forward to all of your suggestions!
General rules before you start nominating shows:
1. 1 nomination per user.
2. Shows that aired at any point in the last 3 years are NOT ELIGIBLE. That's 2011-2013, wether they began or ended in those years. We want people to broaden their horizons and check out some older shows they otherwise wouldn't. And although the entire community may not have viewed a particular show already, it's far more likely for recent shows that a majority has. Viewership tends to decrease when we do repeats of newer series. So this rule applies to:
Goseiger through Kyoryuger for Sentai
OOO through Gaim for Riders
Retsudan through Ginga for Ultras
Power Rangers Samurai, Power Rangers Super Samurai, Power Rangers Megaforce
As an addition to this, shows currently running are also off the table.
3.Only shows which are COMPLETELY subbed are eligible. If a sub group has only done 30 out of 50 episodes you see the problem we run into. Complete shows only
4.Shows that have been previously featured on Let's Watch Wednesdays are ineligible for entry as well. That list includes:
Kamen Rider Ryuki
Kamen Rider W
Gosei Sentai Dairanger
Choujin Sentai Jetman
Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger
Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue
Ultraman Nexus
Kamen Rider Blade

I thought it was Goseiger's time this year. Pooey, and I was going to nominate it while sounding like a Southern preacher delivering a sermon.
Well let's see what we have on the ol' "OTHER" list...
Oooh, Iron King... Well I received the full series for Christmas and it's only 26 episodes long, so let's watch that! Done in about 2 months and we can do Magiranger or something.

We just came off a Kamen Rider series so I think its better to go in another direction.
