Bandai Tamashii Nations have unveiled the next upcoming S.H. MonsterArts figure - Godzilla 1964 (Appearance Ver.). The figure is meant to represent Godzilla as he made his appearance in the 1964 film "Mothra vs. Godzilla". The figure is just a "dusty" repaint of the original Godzilla 1964 figure. October release for 7,344 yen. This is good news for anyone who missed out on the original figure.

Aw, I was kinda hoping it would be an upscale. I would've gladly bought the original or this one if they just weren't so dang tiny compared to the other 'art' figures.

So other than the mecha and space, how many Godzilla figures does this make? Enough to make an army yet?
Guyver Spawn says
I wish Tamashii would do other monsters this year. It seems like it just been repaints and reissues besides Gamera.
Phantom Stranger says
Hell, I wouldn't even mind another Godzilla as long as it was a new mould. I'd love to see them do a '74 Goji and Mecha. Assuming the size issue I have isn't present, anyway.
Also Anguirus, poor Anguirus needs some love. Being the first monster to fight Goji has gotta count for something.
Guyver Spawn says
I do want to get this figure because I missed out on the original figure. The original figure was a Tamashii web exclusive, so it can't be reissue.
Kiwami says
2015 is really a hard year for MonsterArts. Hell, with the QC from last year it was pretty bad too.
I hope they come back with a bang in 2016.
