MMPR 25th Steelbook DVD Set Featuring MMPR The Movie Blu-Ray Revealed

Posted on May 9, 2018 at 12:31 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, Power Rangers Movie

Shout! Factory is set to re-release the entirety of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ 3 season run on a DVD Steelbook in honor of the series 25th anniversary. However, the big surprise and draw of this re-release is that it will also included Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie on Blu-Ray for the first time ever! Fans have eagerly waited for Shout! to have the rights to release the original film and in Blu-Ray form, so this should be welcome news to many.

This massive 25th Anniversary Blu-Ray set will retail for $199.99, available August 7th 2018! Here’s hoping that at some point MMPR The Movie can be released individually as well. Purchasing the set from Shout! Factory’s website will also score you an exclusive 18X24″ lithograph by Paul Shipper. Pre order the set HERE.

The way the rangers are arranged on the cases bugs me and I don't know why

Because it should be Blue & Yellow. Pink and Green.
Your mind is either going with the natural colorwheel preferences or going with the in-show relationships/closest bonds.

Either way, the order of the ranger heads doesn't adhere to either and feels more random.

Well by the time it comes out Power Rangers will be owned by Hasbro so I hope they can change out the Saban logo that's on these DVDs to the Hasbro logo in time.

For posterity of the era they were made in and who made them. Keeping the original Saban logo seems more accurate.

Forward series should go Hasbro logo starting at Beast Morphers on up, or right after Beast Morphers.

Better that way to avoid confusion too on eras of who made what.

So Ninja Storm should have the Disney logo then?

Does this include the 10 episode Alien Ranger arc that is Technicaly the end of season 3 even though the individual releases separated it out?
