Boom Studios via our friends at PowerRangersNow has just announced a brand new Graphic Novel: Power Rangers Soul of the Dragon!

Power Rangers: Soul of the Dragon will be an all-new story featuring the legendary Tommy Oliver during his retirement life who sets out to find his missing son while the SPD Rangers take charge of defending the Earth.

Power Rangers: Soul of the Dragon will be written by Kyle Higgens, author of the fan favorite Mighty Morphin Power Rangers ongoing series. You can look forward to reading Power Rangers: Soul of the Dragon in September 2018. You can find the official synopsis below: 

As a young adult, Tommy Oliver set upon a journey that would inspire hundreds of Power Rangers that would come afterward, thwarting evils like Empress Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, and King Mondo of the Machine Empire. Now, Tommy’s retired with Katherine and leaves protecting the world to Space Patrol Delta–including his son, JJ. But when Jake disappears, presumed dead after an undercover mission goes wrong, Tommy will call on all his training, his friends, and maybe even some of his enemies as he sets out on one last mission: find his son and bring him home. From writer Kyle Higgins (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Nightwing) comes the final story for history’s mightiest Power Ranger.

“Long live Shocker!”

After the defeat of the great Doctor Shinigami, the Shocker Army needed a new general to command it’s forces in Japan. To destroy the Kamen Riders, a member of their American west coast organization was recruited. The deadly and dangerous, Ambassador Hell! Capable of assuming a Kaijin form as Gargaranda, the Ambassador is a force of pure evil in his humanoid form as well. Utilizing his trademark whip to bind his enemies and rally his forces, S.H. Figuarts Ambassador Hell is here to build a new Shocker Army all his own!

Ambassador Hell joins the line at a time when the original Showa Kamen Rider series is getting more releases than it ever has. Expanding to villains has been something that S.H. Figuarts has always struggled with thanks to lower than average sales numbers. But the iconic greats like this can go a long way to reviving them in toy form. Joining the ranks of the various Shocker Combatmen on or coming to market this year, Ambassador Hell is a wonderfully interesting figure, though with a few faults. He’s sure to menace your Seihou Rider 1 & Rider 2 quite well though.

A new Tamashii Blog Post examining the latest Kamen Rider Build SH Figuarts reveal- Kamen Rider Great Cross-Z has also included a quick glimpse at another Build Figuart!

The final page is using a background image of SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Cross-Z Magma! While only a prototype test-shot image, this definitely suggests that Banjo Ryuga’s most powerful form is on the way to shelves.

Each and every year, Toys’R’Us receives a 6-figure set of Power Rangers that they sell as an “epic pack”. That pack always contains an “exclusive figure or accessory” that you cannot buy separately. And for fans of Kelson Henderson, the actor who plays Mick on Power Rangers Ninja Steel and Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel, it’s your chance to own his first official Power Rangers toy!

Here’s the part that will undoubtedly frustrate some fans. The item is still exclusive to Toys’R’Us. This figure pack was found in a store in Canada. For those following the situation with Toys’R’Us, the Canadian stores are NOT closing. With the US Toys’R’Us stores – they are closing at the end of the month and the distribution centers have closed meaning no new product will arrive.

Shattered Grid continues as the Ranger Slayer has arrived, threatening the future of the Power Rangers by destroying their past in service of Lord Drakkon! Issue #10 of Boom! Studios’ Go Go Power Rangers arrives on June 6th and we have a selection of preview images to whet your appetite.

Featuring flashback panels of the Ranger Slayer’s life before they served Lord Drakkon, the images naturally contain spoilers for those not fully up to date with this 25th anniversary Power Rangers event. But for those curious – be sure to check out the images and discuss after the jump!

Bandai’s official blog for all things candy toy related was just recently updated revealing what will be included in the next Yudo set for LupinRanger VS Patranger.

Yudo LupinRanger VS PatRanger Set 2 will include Patren X, Lupin X, Patren Ugou, the Porderman Footsoldiers, and a sperate box which will contain accessories for the aforementioned figures.

You can look forward LupinRanger VS PatRanger set 2  coming out in late August.
