More big news from Tsuburaya Convention 2019 is the announcement of Ultraman Taiga The Movie: New Generation Climax! This film will not only feature a team up with the previous heroes from Ultraman R/B, but will also include appearances from the other New Generation Ultramen – Ultraman Ginga, Ultraman Victory, Ultraman X, Ultraman Orb and Ultraman Geed!

As seen in the trailer linked below, the film will see the New Generation Ultras join the Tri-Squad to face a new dark threat – one which mysteriously includes Taiga’s own father, Ultraman Taro!

Ultraman Taiga The Movie: New Generation Climax will be released in Japanese cinemas in March 2020.

    The time of the New Generation Heroes is drawing to a close. Hiroyuki is being targeted by a dark power, forcing the other Ultra Heroes, from Ginga to R/B to appear and help the Tri-Squad battle these evil forces. But among them is Taiga's father? What has happened to Ultraman Taro?!

    They got everyone back for the movie. It makes me a little sad we won't see something like this is Rider.

    So this is basically the Heisei Generations Final of Ultraman. Weird that they don't seem to show Taiga's new form. Maybe in next trailer.

    They pretty much made sure every Ultra since New Generation is able to reprise their roles. Hopefully Reiwa Kamen Rider will do the same, even though it's still a risk since Rider actors tend to have more chance of mainstream success than Sentai/Ultraman.

    Powered?! Arguably the least respected Ultra? Though to be fair 2020 is his 25th anniversary, but still.

    And now that has me wishing they bring back Kane Kosugi to reprise his role as Kenichi Kai.

    Nope, he will be voiced by Yoshikage Kira himself. I do wonder what is Kane Kosugi doing these days, who knows, maybe a surprise cameo.

    Also Grigio will appear in Ultra form only, and the cast list doesn't seem to list Yuichi Nakamura, so only Daichi will appear as X.
