S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Geed Primitive (New Generation Edition) Images

Posted on August 3, 2020 at 3:47 am by ZeoRangerV under Ultraman

Preorders have now opened for the S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Geed Primitive (New Generation Edition) figure! This reissue of the original Ultraman Geed figure now features an alternate head with red eyes, similar to that of the Shanghai exclusive ULTRA HEROES TAMASHII recolour version released last year. This head mirrors moments of the series where the son of Belial briefly appeared with red eyes.

Due to the addition of a new head, this version omits the original’s Wrecking Burst effect piece but includes three alternate pairs of hands and an alternate red colour timer.

S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Geed Primitive (New Generation Edition) releases in December 2020, at the price of 6050 yen. Check out the images and preorder yours now!

Ultraman Z – Form Reveals and the Return of Geed!

Posted on April 16, 2020 at 6:49 am by ZeoRangerV under Ultraman

 Chant my name!

Tsuburaya Productions have released new information about the newest instalment in the Ultra Series – the forthcoming Ultraman Z!

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Ultraman Zero, the series will feature Zero’s student as the titular hero. Ultraman Z will be voiced by Tasuku Hatanaka (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, My Hero Academia) and assumes the human guise of Haruki Natsukawa, played by Kohshu Hirano.

Ultraman Z will transform using Ultra Z Riser, registering a unique Ultra Access Card and scanning three Ultra Medals to assume a variety of forms:

Alpha Edge – a space martial arts form using the medals of Seven, Leo and Zero.

Beta Smash – a wrestling-style form using the medals of Ultraman Ace and Taro.

Gamma Future – a psychic-powered form using the medals of Tiga, Dyna and Gaia.

Also making a return in the series is Riku Asakura, aka Ultraman Geed! Geed will also be able to transform using the Z Riser, card and medals – assuming the new form of Galaxy Rising! This form combines the medals of Ginga, X and Orb!

Ultraman Z’s opening theme will be “GOSHOUWA KUDASAI WARE NO NA WO! (Chant My Name!)” performed by JAM Project member Masaaki Endou, and it’s closing theme “Connect the Truth” by Nami Tamaki.

Ultraman Z begins airing in Japan on June 20th 2020! Check out the trailer below as well as the cast comments in the full Tsuburaya release!

ULTRA HEROES TAMASHII Shanghai Exclusive Figuarts Announced

Posted on February 1, 2019 at 2:30 pm by ZeoRangerV under Ultraman

Throughout the month of March Bandai Tamashii Nations will be holding a special ULTRA HEROES TAMASHII event in Shanghai, China. As well as featuring displays of the previously released (and hopefully forthcoming) Ultraman Figuarts, the event will also have special commemorative items on sale. Among them are special “Ultra Heroes Tamashii Limited” versions of the previously released S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Geed Primitive and S.H. Figuarts Jugglus Juggler figures!

Not much has been confirmed about these figures yet, but from these single images we can see that they will have more weathered colour schemes to their mainline counterparts (with Geed also featuring red eyes that more closely match his father Belial), as well as recoloured accessories. Geed’s Wrecking Burst effect part will be red and black (as opposed to the original’s blue and red), while Juggler’s Serpent-Hearted Blade will now have a red blade part.

ULTRA HEROES TAMASHII is a free event that will be held at the Shanghai Longshan Railway Bridge Tianchi from the 1st to 31st March. Both Figuarts will be available at the event and retail for 390 RMB each. Check out the full-sized images after the jump!

Posted on December 21, 2018 at 4:07 pm by ZeoRangerV under Ultraman

Though the series itself may about to come to an end, Ultraman R/B fans still have plenty to look forward to as their story continues on into Ultraman R/B the Movie: Select! The Crystal of Bonds! As has been the case with the previous New Generation Ultra films, the film will also see the previous Ultra hero make a return as Riku Asakura/Ultraman Geed joins the cast.

The big news is that Asahi Minato will be joining her brothers as the previously revealed Ultrawoman Grigio! The three siblings will also combine into the new Ultraman GRB.  Joining them is also the mysterious Ultraman Tregear, who will serve as the film’s main antagonist.

Ultraman R/B the Movie: Select! The Crystal of Bonds will be released in Japanese cinemas on March 8th 2019. In the meantime, check out the trailer below and let us know your thoughts!
