It looks like Godzilla vs. Kong has been move to November 2020. I consider that a good thing seeing how the movie was originally set to be out in March 2020. They won't have time to market the movie.

That does put it up against Eternals, which has the MCU branding though

The Eternals is relatively unknown to the viewing public. Can Marvel/Disney pull off another Guardians of the Galaxy? Especially post Infinity Saga.

Not good. Godzilla 2 lost a lot of money it did not do as well as they wanted because of things like this. The hole 5 year wait hit Godzilla 2 in a bad way. To do one more wait is not good.

MCU movies make bank regardless, not to mention Angelina Jolie's in Eternals

Man, I had no idea it was coming out so soon after KOTM. I don't mind a slightly longer wait.

I am sure it will get close to the $500 million range with the Marvel name attached to it. But these high budget films need to gross over $500 million in order to turn a profit. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil under performed at the box office. Even with Angelina Jolie, it was not enough to turn a profit. But we'll have to wait and see.

I think it was also caused by lack of promotion too. Not many people were aware of the film's release up until a few weeks before release. It also debuted at probably the worst time imaginable. It literally came out a month after Endgame, and just six weeks prior to Far From Home, and a week after Aladdin. Had the marketing had more time to promote it, and had the movie been released late October-early November, it would have likely made more money.
