Legendary Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for the next entry in the MonsterVerse film series!
Titled Godzilla VS Kong: The New Empire this feature unites King Kong and Godzilla against a powerful new threat while exploring the mysterious Titans’ history.
Godzilla VS Kong: The New Empire is currently scheduled for release on April 12 2024.
Legendary Pictures has announced a new streaming series set in their King Kong & Godzilla MonsterVerse.
Titled Monarch: Legacy of Monsters this 10-episode series will feature Kurt Russell as Monarch special interest Lee Shaw following the aftermath of the 2014 Godzilla attack, with Wyatt Russel playing the same character approximately 50 years in the past exploring the origins of the secret organization & humanity’s first encounters with the massive Kaiju creatures.
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is expected to hit Apple TV+ in the near future, so stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!
Warner Bros has releases the first full trailer for the upcoming clash of kaiju- Godzilla VS Kong!
This movie will be the 4th feature in the Legendary MonsterVerse, featuring the first conflict between these iconic characters since 1962.
Godzilla VS Kong will be released in theaters AND directly streaming on HBO MAX beginning March 26 2021.
Godzilla and King Kong will be brawling their way to the big screen next year, but for those eager to watch the King of All Monsters duke it out against the great ape in March, we have some bad news for you.
It’s just been announced that Warner and Legendary’s Godzilla vs. Kong’s release date’s been pushed back. Originally slated for March 13, 2020, the film will now see release on November 20th, 2020.
Helmed by director Adam Wingard, Godzilla vs. Kong also stars Julian Dennison, Brian Tyree Henry, Alexander Skarsgard, and Demian Bichir. In the meantime, be sure to stay tuned to Tokunation and we’ll keep you updated on more info on this film as soon as it becomes available.

A new prototype sculpt image has surfaced online, potentially giving fans a look at the next monstrous entity to be introduced in the upcoming Legendary Pictures film Godzilla: King Of The Monsters!
As reported by Godzilla-Movies.com the famous flying Kaiju RODAN is scheduled to appear in the film according to preproduction reports. This sculpture is said to represent Rodan’s new design, and does seem to be in-line with Legendary’s Godzilla appearance.
However, this reveal of Rodan has not been confirmed by official sources at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!
Entertainment Weekly has posted the first image for the upcoming 2019 Legendary Pictures film- Godzilla: King Of The Monsters!
Director Michael Dougherty gives some insight into this film, a sequel to 2014’s “Godzilla” release-
“The world is reacting to Godzilla in the same way we would react to any other terrifying incident, in that we are overreacting,” says Dougherty, whose previous credits include the horror movie Krampus. Godzilla hasn’t been seen since that destructive finale, “but there’s paranoia and endless speculation about whether he is the only one out there or whether we’re threatened by others like his kind.”
In addition, it seems Godzilla might not be the ONLY Kaiju in this story!
King of the Monsters makes it enormously clear that there are other big beasts, notably the three-headed King Ghidorah, the giant insect Mothra, and another flying monster, Rodan, who in the original Japanese movies could create hurricane-force winds.“Rodan’s been kind of a sidekick character, but I’ve always had a soft spot for him” says Dougherty. “In a lot of ways he’s more powerful than Godzilla. He’s like this winged A-bomb. I think we’ve done him justice.” But let’s not forget Godzilla himself, who reveals he has the ability to exhale “atomic breath.” Can Dougherty expand on that description? “Not without giving away too much,” he laughs. “But it takes place at a very key moment and it’s a sort of call to arms.”

With a new apocalypse on the horizon in desperate need of cancelling, a new batch of pilots ready to make a difference, and hopefully a little bit of luck, the next generation of Jaegers are ready to roll out! While today’s subjects aren’t quite the latest models, they pack more than enough brute force to fight some Kaiju. Leading into Pacific Rim Uprising’s finale the mighty Titan Redeemer & Bracer Phoenix helped to shape Earth’s final defense. Now let’s see how these two latest Robot Spirits from Tamashii Nations fare in a double sized gallery!
In a sense, Titan Redeemer & Bracer Phoenix are some of the most traditional designs in this film, and I find that really charming about them. Big bulky brutes that are ready to knock out some Kaiju. They may not have all the bells and whistles of other Jaegers like Gipsy Avenger, but these big guys along with their tiny included buddy Scrapper Jaeger are ready to cancel the 2nd apocalypse. Luckily for Earth kit-bashing is still popular in the future as well. So for the Final Battle we got to see a special combination of these two.
