We are less than three weeks away from San Diego Comic Con 2014! And every single year, more and more Power Rangers attend the show! This year will be no different, with some attending on their own and others attending thanks to the Official Power Morphicon convention coming up in August! We’ve done our homework and will update our list as more guests continue to confirm their attendance. Check out the list below!

We’re a little late on this update but that doesn’t mean it isn’t news! The Official Power Morphicon convention updated on Monday with a couple of new guests and, unfortunately, a cancellation. For starters, Anna Hutchison, better known as Lily the Jungle Fury Yellow Ranger will be joining Jason Smith and David de Lautour giving us the largest Power Rangers Jungle Fury reunion. Someone get in touch with Aljin Abella and Nikolai Nikolaeff and tell them to join the others for a true reunion! But she’s not the only guest – here’s the latest list from the update.

TokuNation.com and the Talkin Toku Podcast are honored to be attending the show this year as platinum members, giving us early and full access to the entire event and the special guests. Thanks once again to the awesome @PockyBandit on Twitter, we have a link to an Amazon.com listing for the upcoming Power Rangers Super Megaforce Ninja Zord!

The Ninja Zord is, of course, an adaptation of the Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger mecha by the name of Karakuri Warrior Fūraimaru. The differences between the two toys are, well, they’re large. Very large. And when the first images were shown earlier this year (and late last year), TokuNation forum members were overly not pleased with the changes. However, with these new official images, maybe a few minds can be changed and the opinions can sway a bit.

The images from Amazon keep on rolling in! With special thanks to @PockyBandit on Twitter for sharing these finds, we have our first official images for the Turbo Cycle, Operation Overdrive Cycle, the Silver Spear roleplay item, and the Silver Ranger Hero Set. These items should come with Ranger Keys, though it is unclear which key comes with what (the same Wild Force Red Ranger key is shown on the Cycles, and Robo Knight Ranger Key with the Silver Spear).

The first official images of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce Silver Morpher are now online courtesy Amazon.com. As was to be expected, this item comes with the Super Megaforce Silver Ranger Key. There had been some hope that perhaps this morpher would come with a few extra 6th Ranger keys, but alas, that does not seem to be the case.

Also, by looking at the item description and comparing it to the Gokai Cellular version (the Bandai of Japan version that is), it would appear that the “scanning” gimmick has also been removed from the toy. The gimmick served no real purpose to the functionality of the toy, it just made it match the show a little bit more by having a red light come on and an anchor drop inside the morpher above the key, giving you the impression that the key was actually being scanned. We also cannot see any of the decals inside the morpher that were present in the Bandai of Japan version.

This item should be releasing soon to all the major retail outlets. Have you found a new Power Rangers Super Megaforce toy in your area? Why don’t you head over to our Sightings Forum! The internet sensation PelleK, who earlier this year did all the Power Rangers theme songs in concession as one giant song and was later picked up by Haim Saban himself, eventually having the song (and instrumental) released as the Power Rangers Mega Mix, has released an all new Power Rangers song simply titled “Go Go Power Rangers”. The boys are back from their crossover adventure with the release of Episode 12 – Lord Zedd Interview and Talkin Dino Charge! Talk some toku with your hosts Chris/Kickback, Jordan/Den-O, and Tom/Sentai Tamashii! In this week’s episode, Chris conducts the first ever Talkin Toku Interview with none other than Robert Axelrod, the voice of Lord Zedd from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Special thanks to Denver Comic Con for helping set up and coordinate a time and place for the interview. Chris also shares his thoughts on Denver Comic Con.

To round off the episode the guys keep the topic on Power Rangers, and more specifically discuss a couple of Power Rangers Monday articles – namely what do we want to see adapted in to Power Rangers Dino Charge from Kyoryuger and what else would we have liked to see adapted from Super Sentai in general in to Power Rangers? It’s a fun conversation as our hopes for a great season with Power Rangers Dino Charge especially with Judd Lynn at the helm show up in the conversation. Thanks to @razzle1337, he has found the first image of the upcoming Power Rangers Super Megaforce Legendary Morpher with 20 Keys item listed in Toys’R’Us computers! The good news is that this set comes with some of the female Ranger Keys that people have been wanting. The bad news is the price of this item – it’s listed at $79.99, almost guaranteeing this set to be one of the more victimized items in the ominous “key theft” that has been occurring to Super Megaforce products nation wide. Here’s the breakdown on the keys that we can decipher from this blurry image.

  • Red, Blue, Green, Pink, Yellow Super Megaforce keys
  • Red, Blue, Black, Pink, Yellow Megaforce keys
  • Red, Blue, Green, Pink, Yellow Samurai keys

Our Power Rangers Monday segment continues! Last week, we shared with you our Top 5 things that were not adapted from Super Sentai and got a lot of great responses. It’s always fun to take a look at the “what if”, as many fans who aren’t dedicated followers of Super Sentai had no idea about Gosei Green or the entire scenario revolving around Shinken Brown. Thanks for your feedback and for enjoying the article!

For this week’s topic, we put up a poll asking you to pick which topic we discussed today – and while the vote was close, the one that edged the others was the Top 5 Must Own Power Rangers Toys! This one was a little more challenging to write up because so many of the toys have Super Sentai counter-parts, leaving us to almost have to focus exclusively on the action figures as opposed to the Megazords. However, we did come up with a list that we feel is pretty awesome.

Before you read in to it – we didn’t include anything from the Legacy collection or from the S.H. Figuarts toy lines. Why? Because everyone knows that you MUST own those items. They are simply masterpiece quality figures and Megazords that every Power Rangers fan should own. That, honestly, left some slim pickings – we didn’t want to focus on the “rare” as we can do that in a future update (we’re looking at you Gold Lost Galaxy Megazord!).
