Saban Brands, the parent company that is behind Power Rangers, has worked out a deal (pending court approval) to purchase the 4Kids! Saturday Morning TV Block. This would mark Saban’s return to running a block of children’s programming not seen since Saban left that market back with Fox Kids in 2001.
Keep in mind that Saban Brands has already been working hard to acquire the license to Yu-Gi-Oh!, one of 4Kids! TV’s hottest shows.
What does this mean for the future of Power Rangers, if anything? Could this be the beginning of the return of cult-classic-favorite Digimon? Stay tuned for details.

While no images have surfaced yet from the Licensing Expo currently being held in Las Vegas, Nevada, we do have commentary from famed and credible Power Rangers fan Fury Diamond. You can find the original post at the Ranger Crew Blog, but we’ve also summarized it here for you.
It would appear that in 2013 there will be two mainstay Power Rangers events – Power Rangers Megaforce and Power Rangers 20. There was a poster for each.
The Power Rangers Megaforce Poster showcased the Goseiger suits, the Goseiger mech, and the new logo. Sorry Gokaiger fans, doesn’t appear to be any type of “merging” going on for the seasons.
The Power Rangers 20 poster is much more interesting. The poster is a close-up of the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger’s helmet, and in the visor you can see what would be a reflection of numerous other Rangers – most notably, all previous Red Rangers (including the Quantum Ranger) and in the middle of all of them, The Mighty Morphin White Tiger Ranger.

Hey Power Rangers fans! As you know, next season (2013) will be the 20th Anniversary of our favorite colored spandex heroes! It was recently revealed that the title to next year’s show will be Power Rangers Megaforce! But the question remains – which Super Sentai series is being adapted for Power Rangers Megaforce?
What better way then to ask the fans of Power Rangers!
CLICK HERE TO VOTE!!!We know that casting for the next series of Power Rangers was put on a sudden hold to re-evaluate plans to celebrate the 20th Anniversary. We know that TOEI re-shot scenes of the Legendary War to feature only Super Sentai teams that were adapted by Saban and Disney. Casting has started again and from casting scripts, there’s talk of Legendary Rangers and Megaforce … but also talks of a Silver Ranger. Is that GoseiKnight or GokaiSilver?
We want you to vote! Do you want to see Goseiger, Gokaiger, or a combination of both series adapted for the 20th Anniversary?
CLICK HERE TO VOTE FOR YOUR PREFERENCE!There’s a licensing expo coming up on Tuesday … we may have more information on Power Rangers Megaforce at that time! Stay tuned for details!

We here at Tokunation are pleased to start a new weekly discussion thread entitled “Let’s Watch Wednesdays”, where every Wednesday we’ll discuss up to and including 5 episodes of various Tokusatsu series! Our staff debated and voted, and we hope you will choose one of (if not all of) the three options below for Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and Kamen Rider!
Let’s Watch Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue!
Mariner Bay is the home of this incarnation of Power Rangers who fight against demons led by the evil Diabalico! It’s also the first adaption of Power Rangers to include a Western-only Tokusatsu hero which was not part of the original Japanese Sentai series!
Let’s Watch Gosei Sentai Dairanger!
The Gorma tribe has returned and is taking over the world! Master Kaku has assembled a team of five youths with a large amount of Qi to stop them! You will recognize a lot of the monster and all the zord footage from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 2 as the zords, the monsters, and the White Ranger were adapted from DaiRanger to Power Rangers!
Let’s Watch Kamen Rider Ryuki
The Rider War is here! There can only be one Kamen Rider! Each has the Advent Deck which has bonded them to a monster from the mirror world. Sound familiar? You may have seen this on the KidsWB network as Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. Now see the story as it was originally told as we watch one of the most popular Kamen Rider series!
Every week we’ll move on to the next batch of episodes! Happy discussions!

Go-Busters Mission 15[/u]
The Beet and Stag Busters make themselves known! It’s the debut of a (two) new Go-Buster(s)! What did you think of the episode? Share your thoughts here!

Kamen Rider Fourze Episode 38[/u]
We’re nearing the end of Kamen Rider Fourze! What happens when the pretty awesome chick Elleen is also the Aquarius Horoscope? Did Yuuki really cheat to pass to the next round of the astronaught test? Plus the identity of the Taurus Horoscope is revealed! Join in the discussion here!

It’s a slow news day, but I caught this one over at RangerBoard and thought it should be shared with the masses, if anything, just for an eyebrow-raising read.
Apparently in Saudi Arabia, the McDonalds Happy Meal Samurai Blue Ranger toy stomps his foot on a disc (his Samurai Dragon Disc, mind you). And while no one can really confirm the validitiy of the claim (as none of us have the Saudi Arabia version of the figure), apparently the dragon symbols resemble the spelling of the prophet Muhammad. So when you trigger the toy’s action feature, the Blue Ranger smashes his foot down upon the name Muhammad, over and over again.
Interesting.
I got nothing for this one. Join in our discussion and see if the Blue Ranger hates Muhammad or if this is one of those coincedence stories.
