Power Rangers 25th Anniversary Ranger Keys Listing Discovered

Posted on December 6, 2017 at 12:22 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

Today a listing was discovered on EntertainmentEarth.com for what is listed as a Power Rangers 25th Anniversary Ranger Keys listing. The said listing contains a case of 6 different 5 packs of Ranger Keys. Unfortunately, there is no breakdown for the case. John Green on Twitter of GrnRngr.com is stating that these appear to be part of the Legacy assortment.

Check out the official listing of the Power Rangers 25th Anniversary Ranger Keys here. We’ve reached out for comment on what these are. If we receive a response we will update with more information. Our own speculation is that these will contain classic teams and not necessarily complete the missing keys, though it would be nice to get Power Rangers Dino Charge and Power Rangers Ninja Steel represented.

Estimated release date is April 2018. Image used in this story is from our Power Rangers Zeo Ranger Keys gallery and not of the actual product listed in this story.

No Ranger is Safe – Power Rangers Shattered Grid Event from BOOM! Studios

Posted on December 5, 2017 at 4:39 am by Chris under Power Rangers

The universe within BOOM! Studios Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Go Go Power Rangers comics are about to get much bigger! The first-ever comic event in franchise history, “Shattered Grid” begins within Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Issue 25 releasing on March 21st, 2018. The evil Lord Drakkon – the alternate future Tommy Oliver who never became good – is back. And he’s raised an evil army that has the Power Rangers and the morphin grid itself in its sights.

The Shattered Grid event will also have ripples in the Go Go Power Rangers comic series. For those who haven’t followed Go Go Power Rangers, that comic book follows the original five Mighty Morphin Power Rangers literally right after they become Power Rangers and how it effects their personal lives. In the book, a fan-favorite Power Ranger from the future will arrive looking for Lord Drakkon and will end up dividing the team “in a very personal way”.

All in all – the existence of the Power Rangers past, present, and future is at stake in this event. So, naturally, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are going to need to help of Power Rangers from all walks of the franchise to help out. The event begins with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Issue 25 on March 21st, 2018. It continues in Go Go Power Rangers Issue 9 releasing in April. The event will also have two one-issue specials during 2018.

Check out the full press release from BOOM! Studios below. Are you ready for this mega-event? Could we call it … a SUPER MEGA EVENT? Too soon? Who do you hope to see in the Shattered Grid event? Sound off in our discussion thread! Click “Read More” for the full press release.

Posted on December 1, 2017 at 5:01 am by Chris under Conventions, Kamen Rider, Other Conventions

The last big reveal of the day comes from the beloved Kamen Rider Ex-Aid series. Shown off on display is none other than the final boss himself – Kamen Rider Cronus! Displayed with a Gamer Driver (aka Gamer Driver version), Kamen Rider Cronus looks absolutely glorious.

Rumor from @_Erasu on Twitter, from a trusted source, is that the Kamen Rider Cronus will come with both the Gamer Driver and Bugster-type versions of belts. Stay tuned for more information and, hopefully, better pictures! Picture courtesy of @YongouOYander on Twitter.’

UPDATE! New image with Bugster belt courtesy @EDxie3 on Twitter.

Tamashii Nations 2017 – First Look at Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Wizard

Posted on December 1, 2017 at 4:43 am by Chris under Conventions, Kamen Rider, Other Conventions

The Shinkocchou Seihou series of S.H. Figuarts has the design process starting with the bone structure of the character and building up, providing more realization without limiting articulation. At the Tamashii Nations 2017 event currently happening in Japan, images have leaked of the Shinkocchou Seihou version of Kamen Rider Wizard!

Currently, two images are linked to this article courtesy of @YongouOYander on Twitter. Check out the new version of Kamen Rider Wizard by clicking the title of the story. No further details on this figure are available at this time – it is simply on display.

Legacy Wave 5 Figures In Package Images

Posted on November 29, 2017 at 1:02 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

Thanks to user coolztoys at Rangerboard we have some up close in-package images of the upcoming Wave 5 figures from the Legacy Power Rangers 6.5″ Figures collection. Notably absent from the wave is the Dino Thunder Yellow Ranger and Zeo Pink Ranger, although Bandai America has issued a statement weeks ago that collectors should not worry because they are still releasing female figures (no images of the Wave 4 Zeo Yellow Ranger have surfaced yet and she was excluded from the first assortment of Wave 4).

The figures available in the first assortment of this wave appear to be:

– Dino Thunder Black Ranger
– Zeo Red Ranger
– Zeo Blue Ranger

We do not yet know the case assortment yet, but one could assume it will be Tommy-heavy in shipping (x3 and x2 on the Tommy figures, most likely). Stay tuned for more information as it comes available.
