under Godzilla

Some new details on Gen Urobuchi’s forthcoming Godzilla Anime’s been making the rounds online and we now have some new cast info along with a new piece of concept art.

Joining Urobuchi is a team of six voice actors well known in the field: Yuki Kaji, Takahiro Sakurai Tomokazu Sugita Junichi Suwabe, Kana Hanazawa, and Mamoru Miyano

In addition we have Kobun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita helming the project as directors. Additional information about the Godzilla Anime will be released during a stage event during anime Japan 2017 on March 26th 2017, until then stay tuned to Tokunation and we’ll provide more info as it becomes avalaible.

KNIGHT OF SPEAR 

 After months of being showcased at trade shows and magazines, Bandai’s finally released the official stock image gallery for S.I.C Kamen Rider Baron Banana Arms, our clearest look at the hyper stylized Banana man yet!

S.I.C Kamen Rider Baron Banana Arms will be released as a Tamashii web shop exclusive[/url[ hitting shelves in June 2017 with a price tag of 8856 yen.

Bandai’s announced the first obligatory Legend Rider item for Kamen Rider Ex-Aid with a pre order page having gone up for the DX Heisei Legend Rider Gashat set.

  • The set will contain Gashats for the following Riders from the Heisei Era:

    Kuuga

  • Agito
  • Ryuki
  • Blade
  • Hibiki
  • Kabuto
  • Den-O
    Kiva
    Decade

Of course, each Gashat will work with the Gamer Driver itself having a unique tune for each Rider in addition to being compatible with Ganbarizing arcade machines. The set will cost 16,200 yen(approximately 1500 yen per Gashat), pre orders will begin tomorrow: Tuesday January 10 2017 and will be shipping February 6 2017.

It’s Meowphin Time!

After months of speculation, Power Rangers finally has a new trailer that answers the age old question: what would’ve happened had Zordon picked a team of five felines with “cattidute” instead of teenagers to fight Rita Repulsa and the forces of evil?

The result is the Mighty Morphin Meower Rangers web series which will be making it’s debut tomorrow Tuesday January 10 2017 on the Official Power Rangers youtube channel, in the meantime a teaser has been released which can be seen in the box below:

High-end toy manufacturers ThreeA’s  just announced that they’ll be tackling the new Ultraman design from the on going Manga in their ThreeZero line! 

Currently, no word on price or release date  has been given as of yet all we know are the specs of the toy from the teaser images that have been released: Threezero Manga Ultraman will be in scale with other 1/6th collectables at 31cms tall. Stay tuned, and Tokunation will bring more update info on this product as it becomes avalaible.

LEVEL UP!

Bandai’s just released images for a pair of new Level Up Rider action figures for Kamen Rider Ex-Aid’s second quarter power ups; we now have the official image gallery and release details for LVUR11 Double Action Gamer Level XXR and LVUR12 Double Action Gamer XXL!

Both have been given a release date of January 26th 2017 with LVUR-11 costing 3500 yen and LVUR-12 being slightly more expensive at 4546 yen, this is due to the fact that XXL will include the  outer shell needed to make the Level X form while XXR includes the actual weapon accessory.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled Holiday for some Uchu Sentai KyuRanger news! New scans have been making the rounds online, we finally now have some faces and names to associate with our heroes, the translations come courtesy of @TheRealMattHunt via twitter. 

Those that will have human face actors are as followed:

  • ShishiRed/Lucky played by Kizu Takumi
  • ChameleonGreen/Hami, portrayed by Ookuba Sakurako
  • KajikiYellow/Spada, portrayed by Sakakihara Tetsuji
  • SasoriOrange/Stinger, played byKishi Yousuke
  • HebitsukaiSilver/Rei Naga played byYamazaki Taiki

And the rest are voiced characters with suit actors:

  • OokamiBlue/Garu,
  • OushiBlack/Champ,
  • WashiPink/Laputa 283
  • TenbinGold/Balance

Currently, there’s still no word on the creative staff, and the actors associated with these characters have yet to be posted. Until then, keep tuned to TokuNation and we’ll bring you more information on this series as it becomes avalaible.

C’MON, BANANA ARMS!

S.I.C Kamen Rider Baron Banana Arms was showcased in the latest scans from Hyper Hobby magazine, and with those scans we finally have both pricing and a release date for this bad banana!

S.I.C Kamen Rider Baron Banana Arms appears to be a mass retail release currently slated to come out June 2017 for 8856 yen. Shown to include tiny replicas of his Lock Seeds as well as a Helheim Fruit and what looks like an alternate Sengoku Driver.

Our latest offering from the Godzilla VS Neon Genesis Evangelion cross-promotion comes from Sentinel’s Riobot series, and it’s perhaps one of the most unique offerings thus far.

Riobot NERV vs. G Kessen Heiki “Shiryu” Prototype Unit appears to be a completely original design, a designer’s interpretation of what an anti-Kaiju EVA machine would look like.

The Riobot NERV vs. G Kessen Heiki “Shiryu” Prototype Unit costs a whopping 21,600 yen and is currently slated for a release of July 2017. Accessories includes alternate hands and two Anti-Kaiju battle blades.

Premium Bandai’s just launched the product page for the Tamashii Lab Zyusouken and with it we have some new details for this release.

The Tamashii Lab Zyusouken measures about 46.5 cm long with both PVC and Diecast used in it’s construction material. Unlike the Legacy Dragon Dagger, this release includes is a unique stand designed specifically for this release, a booklet, and some sort of special message card.

Of course, the Zyusouken will feature sounds from the show along with playing Burai’s theme song though whether or not any of these sounds differ from the Legacy Dragon Dagger wasn’t specified.

Tamashii Lab Zyusouken will be released May 2017 with a price tag of 13,500 yen before middleman fees and overseas shipping.
