A new line of Super Sentai Mecha toys is in the works!

Titled DX Robo Universe this new series features smaller but fully transforming versions of iconic Sentai Mecha with cross-compatible joints (similar to the Zord-Builder system previously used by Bandai America).

The first 3 entries in DX Robo Universe are:

*Engine-Oh from Engine Sentai Go-Onger!

*ToQOh from Ressha Sentai ToQGer!

*GokaiOh from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger!

Each DX Robo Universe release is priced at 5280 Yen. EngineOh & ToQOh are scheduled for release in October 2024 while GokaiOh is slated for a December 2024 release.

The sister show to Power Morphicon – Japan World Heroes – has announced their first guest for the upcoming convention.  Super Sentai fans rejoice as Yasuhisa Furuhara – who played Sousuke Esumi (Go-On Red) in the 2008 Super Sentai series Engine Sentai Go-Onger – will be appearing at this year’s Japan World Heroes.

Japan World Heroes takes place August 18-20 2023 at the Burbank Marriott hotel, directly across from the Burbank airport in Burbank, California.  For more details – JapanWorldHeroes.com – and to purchase tickets click here.

Toei has uploaded a new trailer for the upcoming Super Sentai reunion film Engine Sentai Go-Onger- 10 Year Grand Prix!

A decade since their last adventures together, the Go-Onger team has long been divided thanks to the Human Worlds’ Isolation Barrier. Worse yet, a new Sentai Activity Ban by the Ministry of Defense means that if the Go-Ongers appear again, they will be labeled as terrorists! A major incident will occur to reunite both the Human & Engine team members- while the old enemy Gaiark Clan is along for the ride as well!

10 Year Grand Prix is currently scheduled for release on September 26 2018!

Let’s Go On!

If you’re a fan of Engine Sentai Go-Onger, we have good news for you:  this year marks the show’s 10-year anniversary, and to celebrate Toei will be releasing an Engine Sentai Go-Onger V-Cinema: Engine Sentai Go-Onger 10 Year Grand Prix!

tokusatsunetwork.com  has confirmed that the main seven cast members will return to reprise their respective roles, in addition, the movie will be written by Katsuya Watanabe whom previously worked on episodes of the show.

The Blu-Ray and DVD release is set to come out September 26th 2018, plot details currently unknown but for now we can enjoy a teaser announcing the project in the box below:

 

Engine Sentai Go-Onger first aired in February 17, 2008. The show would later become the basis for the fan favorite season Power Rangers RPM.

Actor Kenta Sato, Red Turbo from Kousoku Sentai Turboranger, recently caught the latest episode of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger. Noticing the preview at the end for the Zyuranger/Abaranger/Kyoryuger team-up movie he took to twitter[/URL] to ask Toei to make a car themed sentai special as well! The other two car sentai of course being Gekisou Sentai Carranger & Engine Sentai Go-Onger.

Something like that happening isn’t entirely likely but it’s fun to see how pumped previous sentai actors can be when watching new series. For instance after their cameos in Gokaiger, Ginga Red (Kazuki Maehara) & Black Knight Hyuga (Teruaki Ogawa) from Gingaman started a twitter account for previous sentai actors to catch up with one another. It went viral very quickly and resulted in tons of actors requesting cameos in Gokaiger and volunteering to do it for fans. In fact that twitter account is what led to so many previous actors returning in the later half of the show. Could something like that happen again? Here’s hoping for a Turboranger/Carranger/Go-Onger special!

Jan has returned from his trip around the world, Dokokugan still safe around his neck, to find Nunchuck Banki! What goals do the Gaiarc ministers have? The Dokokugan is the key to their plan. But they don’t just face the Go-Ongers this time. Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger is here and they’ll bring the teachings of Jyuken to the Go-Ongers to create the unstoppable combo, Engine Ken! You can never keep a good hero, or in this case 2, down. And a terrible evil will rear it’s head once more.
