Bandai affiliate FlameToys has showcased a new line of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers model kits at San Diego Comic Con 2022. The core five Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are on display. These are model kits that fans put together and are quite posable. Check out the pictures!
The Diamond Select Toys booth at San Diego Comic Con 2022 had a few of the upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Minimates figures on display.
These items are currently listed as “Coming Soon” with no hard release date.
It’s Cowabunga Time!
Ryan Parrott, soon to be the former writer of the Power Rangers comic from BOOM! Studios, will be returning with top-talent artist Dan Mora, for a sequel series to the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book crossover. Ryan Parrott has previously stated that doing the first book was a highlight for him so obviously a sequel is going to be even more amazing, more incredible, and hopefully full of more awesome Heroes in a Half Shell in Spandex!

It’s a homecoming in so many ways.
Melissa Flores, former Director of Development for Power Rangers at Hasbro, as well as Producer on the Power Rangers Beast Morphers television show, and other creative and production related titles with Saban Brands, is returning to the Power Rangers brand as the writer for the BOOM! Studios comic book. The comic – which has been split in to two titles currently (Mighty Morphin and Power Rangers) has been written by Mathew Groom and Ryan Parrott respectively – will return to a single title (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) with Issue 101.
Melissa is popular within the fan community for her interaction with fans at conventions and her online presence. She was unceremoniously laid off by Hasbro a few years back.
She has partnered with both Ryan Parrott and Mathew Groom – as well as former Mighty Morphin Power Rangers writer Kyle Higgins – to start her own creator-owned comic book called “The Dead Lucky” which releases on August 3rd. Be sure to check it out!
The Power Rangers comics from BOOM! Studios are about to get a facelift. On Thursday, Ryan Parrott (writer on “Power Rangers“) announced that he would be leaving the brand at the onset of Issue 100 of the Power Rangers comic. This morning, Mat Groom – whom just took over writing duties of the “Mighty Morphin” comic from Ryan Parrott – announced that he, too, was leaving the Power Rangers comics with Issue 22 of Mighty Morphin.
The future of the Power Rangers comics going forward is currently uncertain but sources tell us all is well at BOOM! Studios with the Power Rangers comics and that the future creative team will be announced at a later date.

In a shocking twist that no one saw coming, an unannounced Power Rangers Lightning Collection figure has been discovered. Malaysian retailer MyToy shared on their Facebook page their latest acquisition of brand new Power Rangers Lightning Collection Metallic Mighty Morphin White Ranger, the final addition to the Metallic collection.
This Tommy comes with a brand new head sculpt and the fully formed Zeo Crystal. Unlike the other Mighty Morphin Power Rangers figures to receive the Metallic treatment, there does NOT appear to be a new helmet sculpt.
When will this figure be released? When will this figure be announced? Roll the dice because no one truly knows.
Austin St. John – aka Jason Lawrence Geiger – aka The Red Power Ranger (according to the Federal Government, so hey, that’s a thing now) has been federally indicted on wire fraud by the US Government.
In a memo released today, St. John was indicted (and possibly arrested, but at least summoned to appear in front of a federal magistrate judge) for conspiracy to commit wire fraud. The United States government alleges that Austin St. John, along with others, conspired together to create fake information to apply for COVID-19 relief money – specifically the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) – and misuse the funds (ie: personal investments, leisure, etc.).
If convicted, Austin St. John could spend up to 20 years in federal prison.

Fans of Power Rangers Wild Force will be thrilled to see the Surging Shark– Wild Force Blue Ranger recreated in superb detail.

A teaser image has surfaced revealing the next entry in Hasbro‘s Zord Ascension Project!
The mighty Dragonzord will be coming to the line, fully compatible with the already-announced Dino Megazord! The connection between these two ZAP releases is demonstrated with Mega Dragonzord mode.

Hasbro has revealed two new entries in the Power Rangers Lightning Collection!
*First up is the Mighty Morphin Swap Pack! This double release recreates an iconic moment from the Boom! Studios comic series which features a male Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger and a female Mighty Morphin Red Ranger. This set is priced at $47.99 and is scheduled for release in December 2022.
*Next is the Lord Drakkon Helmet! A special new item based on the Boom! Studios villain & features a special voice-changer feature. The Lord Drakkon helmet is scheduled for release in December 2022 and is priced at $132.99.
