With San Diego Comic Con 2021 Special Edition currently underway, our friends at Flame Toys just unveiled the latest addition to their Furai Model Line of snap-together kits with a prototype of the original Megazord from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers seen https://twitter.com/FlameToysUS/status/1464623032014565378]on display at the show.
No other word was given on the release date as of this writing, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated to date as more info on this product is released to the public.
This year was the second annual Hasbro PulseCon and it was one heck of a show! Hasbro revealed brand new products for all of their major lines – including Power Rangers – and opened the floodgates on pre-orders for all the delicious plastic goodness that we’ve come to know and love.
After PulseCon, we were fortunate enough to be given an interview with John Warden (Design Director) and Jon Firestone (Marketing) from Hasbro’s Power Rangers team. In our interview we ask about future accessories for figures still missing items in the Lightning Collection, we get intimate details on the Lord Zedd helmet, the decision behind releasing a second In Space Blue Ranger (with Galaxy Glider) so quickly after the first (VS two pack with Psycho Silver), and of course – the inaccuracies in the Lunar Wolf Silver Ranger figure.

Threezero are continuing their licensing onslaught with the Power Rangers, kicking things off with a massive FigZero 1/6th scale box set. The set includes all 5 core Rangers along with Tommy aka the Green Ranger. These are available in a collector box that folds open to show them all lined up. Each one will also be available individually of course, but if you want the whole team in one shot, this box set is what to aim for.

These were due to ship in Q3 2021. As we all know by now, shipping is a mess globally so assume dates are shifting forward. Some folks who bought retail have received individual figures. From the American superhero television series, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, threezero and Hasbro are proud to present 1/6th scale articulated figures based on the classic original series. The first six Power Rangers figures will be available for pre-order on December 16 at 09:00 HKT (previous day, 08:00 EST) at https://www.threezerohk.com, threezero Tmall, and select threezero distribution partners. These figures are only available in selected markets.
The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are approximately 12” (30cm) tall, fully-articulated collectible figures with hand-tailored fabric costumes, standard boots, and unique Mighty Morphin helmet. Each Power Ranger figure includes a utility belt, Blade Blaster holster, Blade Blaster, individual weapons, and four pairs of interchangeable hands.
The Power Rangers’ individual weapons may also be integrated into the Power Blaster by combining the Power Sword, Power Bow, Power Axe, Power Daggers, and Power Lance accessories; included separately with the core five Power Rangers figures. This powerful assembled weapon is used as a finisher on small monsters.
The return of Lord Zedd happened in Power Rangers Dino Fury, his origin explained in the Power Rangers comics by BOOM! Studios, and now you can become Lord Zedd yourself! Today during Hasbro PulseCon 2021 a brand new line of Power Rangers toys was announced – the Power Rangers Lightning Collection Deluxe line! In this line of $31.99 price-point figures, we’ll get our 7+ inch monsters (formerly from the Monsters line) as well as larger figures or figures with vehicles. Naturally, everyone was hoping for a Battleizer. Not this time, sadly.
