Tonight was the premiere of the Power Rangers HyperForce via Hyper RPG on Twitch.tv. For three hours viewers were treated to a new story in the Power Rangers universe set in the year 3016 at the Time Force Academy. Returning and reprising her roll as Jen Scotts, the Time Force Pink Ranger, was Erin Cahill as a guest participant.

Before there was Power Rangers there was Super Sentai! And with that catchphrase, Shout! Factory continues with their releases of the Super Sentai series on DVD. Releasing on 10/31 is none other than Denji Sentai Megaranger, the Super Sentai season that was adapted in to the fan-favorite series Power Rangers In Space.
To celebrate the release of the next chapter in the Super Sentai series, Shout! Factory TV is doing a live stream this coming Saturday, October 28th at 10:00am PST at www.shoutfactorytv.com as well as channel 512 on Pluto TV. Seven full episodes of Denji Sentai Megaranger will be aired, with added commentary from Shamus Kelly, known in the Power Rangers fandom for his work on the Dan’s Toku Rants and No Pink Spandex podcasts.

Twitch.TV has released some early designs for their upcoming RPG streaming series, Power Rangers HyperForce!
The HyperForce team theme appears to be based on Greek Mythology, with each Ranger using the powers of a different mystic creature.

*Oceanus Serpent Blue (aka Eddie)
*Hyperion Phoenix Pink (named Chloe)
*Coeus Cerberus Black (called Vesper)
Definitely a unique team, featuring the first FEMALE Black Ranger in the history of the Power Rangers franchise!

Today marks the beginning of a very unique new entry in the Power Rangers franchise!
Twitch TV has officially announced their new RPG series- Power Rangers HyperForce! This series will be a live-stream table-top role-playing game, the first of its kind! 25 episodes are currently planned to air weekly in celebration of the Power Rangers’ 25th anniversary.
A very interesting story outline has been provided for this new series:
The stakes have never been higher as the players learn what it means to be a Ranger in a live, tabletop RPG environment where anything can happen.
Hyper RPG has developed a Twitch Extension that will allow viewers to select a Ranger that is permanently tied to the user’s unique ID. Viewers will be able to send their Ranger out on daily missions, boss battles, and raids, as well as trade cool loot with other players.
And a special cast has been put together for the HyperForce adventures! Announced game players include:
*Peter Sudarso (Ninja Steel Blue Ranger)
*Paul “Bulk” Schrier
*Andre The Black Nerd
*Social Media personalities Meghan Camarena and Christina Vee
At least one guest star has also been confirmed: Erin Cahill (the Pink Time Force Ranger) will be on hand for the premiere episode.
